The Old–Kladruby whitehorse and the modern Elbe valley landscape resulted from a nearly 500 years long shared evolution as documented by analysis and ecological interpretation of archive documents and maps. These describe the reasons for changes in landscape structures of this Unixe historical landscape on the premises of the national horse–breeding farm during various time periods, including the successful revival of the Elbe cutoff meanders in 2008.
