The results of observations enamels coating degradations on heat surface of gas - gas preheaters. It has been found that aggressive environment in wet gas causes local corrosion on the surface enamel sheets. During the exploitations the corrosion processes are growing up. In effect gas - gas heaters must be turn off.

The article shows experiences and some results of researches leading on into installation of desulfurization in power plant "OPOLE".
