The main advantage of a distributed computing system over standalone computer is an ability to share the workload between cores, processors and computers. In our paper we present a hybrid cluster system - a novel computing architecture with multi-core CPUs working together with many-core GPUs. It integrates two types of CPU, i.e., Intel and AMD processor with advanced graphics processing units, adequately, Nvidia Tesla and AMD FirePro (formerly ATI). Our CPU/GPU cluster is dedicated to perform massive parallel computations which is a common approach in cryptanalysis and cryptography. The efficiency of parallel implementations of selected data encryption and decryption algorithms are presented to illustrate the performance of our system.

The aim of the study was to monitor the effects of radiation emitted by a low energy laser on regenerating the musculus longissimus lumborum in pigs. The muscle was damaged through injections of 10 cm3 of a 0.5% bupivacain solution. Analyses were carried out on 34 wbp gilts aged 10 weeks, with an average body weight of 20 kg. Infrared radiation was applied for 5 days at a wavelength of 830 nm emitted by a 100 mW laser with an energy density of 4 J/cm2. The animals were euthanized 6, 12, and 24 hours as well as 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10 and 14 days after muscle damage. Muscle specimens were subjected to histopathology (HE, PAS acc. to McManus, HBFP, Feulgena, Unny), ultrastructure (TEM) and immunohistochemical analyses (PCNA, desmin, vimentin). Extensive blood extravasations were observed in the experimental pigs at the bupivacain injection site, which after laser therapy remained up to the second day, and in the control group up to the fourth day of the experiment. Induced necrosis of muscle fibres was present up to day 14 in the control group and up to day 5 of the study in the experimental group. Numerous oval and fusiform, desmino positive and myoblasts were observed in the laser radiation-stimulated muscles as early as from day 2 of the experiment. Myoblasts were sporadic on day 2 in the control group, and it was observed that their number increased beginning from day 3. Myotubes and infrequent young fibres were observed in the experimental group as early as on day 3, and in the control group - on day 4. The results obtained indicate that bio-stimulation with laser light accelerates the regeneration process of necrosis muscle fibres due to more efficient phagocytosis of extravasated blood cells and necrosis of muscle fibres as well as the proliferation of myogenic cells. A substantially weaker effect of bio-stimulation was observed as far as the process of myoblast differentiation and growth of newly formed muscle fibres were concerned.

Badanie przeprowadzono na 40 indykach rasy WAMA-1, które podzielono na 4 grupy. Zwierzęta żywiono mieszankami pełno porcjowymi z dodatkiem śruty rzepakowej, oleju rzepakowego lub paszowego tłuszczu sypkiego ERAFET. U pta­ków, które w diecie otrzymywały śrutę poekstrakcyjną i olej rzepaku polskiej odmiany dwuzerowej „Jantar", w mięśniu sercowym stwierdzono liczne włókna pozbawione poprzecznego prążkowania, rozpad ziarnisty niewielkich odcinków włó­kien oraz ogniska nacieku komórek jednojądrzastych. W wątrobie tych ptaków stwierdzono zwyrodnienie miąższowe komórek wątrobowych, rozplem tkanki łącznej, przekrwienie zastoinowe oraz liczne ogniska martwicy skrzepowej komórek wąt­robowych. W mięśniu piersiowym stwierdzono nieliczne odcinki włókien z zanikiem poprzecznego prążkowania, rozpadem grudkowym sarkoplazmy i naciekiem komórek fagocytarnych.

Исследования провели на 40 индейках породы WAM.A-1, разделенных на 4 груш Птиц кормили полнорационными смесями с добавкой рапсового шрота, pancoвoго масла или сыпучего кормового жира Эрафет. У птиц, рациов которых содерл шрот и масло из улучшенного (00) рапса польского copra Янтар, обнаружили в с дечной мышце многочисленные волокна, лишенные поперечной полосатости, гра лезный распад небольших участков волокон и очаги инфильтрата мононуклеарв клеток. В печени этих птиц выявили паренхиматозное перерождение клеток, про ферацию соединительной ткани, застойную гиперемию, а также многочисленные оч коагуляционного некроза клеток печени. В сердечной мышце обнаружили некото] участки волокон с атрофией поперечной полосатости, распадом саркоплазмы и инфи тратом фагоцитарных клеток.

The investigation was conducted on 40 turkeys of the WAMA-1 breed, which were divided into 4 groups. The animals were fed with a complete mixture supple­mented with rapeseed meal, rape seed oil or fodder loose fat ERAFET. In birds which received extracted meal and oil of the Polish „00" „Jantar" raipeseed cultivar, numerous fibres deprived of cross striation, granular decomposition of small fibre segments and mononuclear cells infiltration foci were found in the cardiac muscle. Parenchymatous degeneration of liver cells, connective tissue poliferation, stagnant hyperaemia and numerous foci of coagulative necrosis of liver cells were found in the liver of those birds. In the pectoral muscle, rare fibre segments with cross striation atrophy, papular decomposition of sarcoplasma and phagocytic cells infiltration were found.

The aim of the study was to monitor the effect of butaphosphane (1-(n-butylamino)-1-methylophosphorous acid) and cyanocobalamin (Catosal preparation, Bayer AG) on regeneration of the longissimus lumborum muscle (musculus longissimus lumborum) in pigs. Experiments were conducted on 34 piglets of Polish Large White breed with a mean body weight of 20 kg that were divided into two groups. Piglets of group I (control) received an intramuscular injection of 10 cm3 of 0.5% bupivacaine hydrochloride at both side of the spine. Piglets of group II were injected with bupivacaine, as in group I, and additionally received intramuscular injections of 5 ml of Catosal for 5 subsequent days. The animals were euthanized 6, 12, and 24 hours as well as 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10 and 14 days after muscle injury. Preparations obtained from muscle specimens were stained with HE, PAS method acc. to McManus, HBFP, Feulgen, and Unna methods. Ultrastructural preparations (TEM) were prepared following a standard procedure. The presence of vimentin, desmin and PCNA was detected immunohistochemically in sections prepared with a paraffin method. Necrosis of muscle fibres was observed in all animals after bupivacaine injection. The administration of Catosal accelerated the regeneration of damaged skeletal muscles in pigs through the facilitation of phagocytosis and enhancement of myogenic cells proliferation. No effect of Catosal was found on differentiation of myoblasts or maturation of newly-formed muscle fibres.
