W artykule zaprezentowano problematykę dotyczącą przewozu materiałów niebezpiecznych w przewozach intermodalnych. Skupiono uwagę na jednostki intermodalne używane są do przewozów masowych towarów płynnych różnymi rodzajami transportu uważane w większości za materiały niebezpieczne. Następnie omówiono stan terminali intermodalnych w Polsce, a następnie odniesiono się do stanu prawnego i przepisów obowiązujących. Wskazano aktualne trendy i perspektywy w rozwoju przewozu materiałów niebezpiecznych w przewozach intermodalnych.

The article presents issues related to the transport of hazardous materials in intermodal transport. Attention has been paid to intermodal units used for mass transport of liquid goods with various modes of transport, which are mostly considered as hazardous materials. Next, the state of intermodal terminals in Poland was discussed, and then the legal status and applicable regulations were referred to. Current trends and perspectives in the development of the transport of hazardous materials in intermodal transport were indicated.

Autorzy artykułu przedstawiają tendencje zmian w zakresie przewozów intermodalnych w Polsce i znaczenia rozwoju infrastruktury liniowej i punktowej dla utrzymania korzystnych trendów wzrostu przewozu tego segmentu ładunków. Ważnym elementem systemu transportu infrastruktury punktowej są terminale intermodalne. Odpowiedni wybór lokalizacji pod przyszłą infrastrukturę transportową ma istotny wpływ na przebieg procesu inwestycyjnego oraz ekonomiczne powodzenie projektu. Ważnym etapem jest etap planowania inwestycji i opracowania koncepcji dostosowując obiekt to przewidywanych protokół ładunków z uwzględnieniem czynników czasu.

The authors present trends of changes in intermodal transport in Poland and the importance of the development of linear and point infrastructure to maintain favorable trends in the growth of this segment of cargo transport. An important element of the point infrastructure transport system are intermodal terminals. Appropriate selection of locations for future transport infrastructure has a significant impact on the course of the investment process and the economic success of the project. An important stage is the stage of investment planning and development of the concept, adjusting the object to the anticipated cargo protocol taking into account time factors.
