Из техник, в которых используется лазерное излучение, применяли до сих пор для исследования механических свойств пшеничных стеблей метод голографической интерферометрии. В работе представлено попытку применения с подобной целью метода лазерной спекл-фогографии. Этот метод проще голографической интерферометрии и не нуждается в так сложной и дорогой аппаратуре.

To determine the mechanical properties of crops the holographic interferometry was used so far from among the techniques utilizing laser light. The paper presents the feasibility of using, for similar purposes, another laser technique - the speckle photography. This method is easier then holographic interferometry and does not require so complicated and expensive optical equipment.

This paper presents the results of the study on the mechanical properties of wheat stalks during tension and bending including the effect of fertilization and stage of plant vegetation. The tensile strength and the modulus of elasticity are higher the smaller the stalk cross-sectional area is.

W pracy opisano metody wyznaczania wytrzymałości na rozciąganie, sztywności zginania i modułu sprężystości źdźbeł pszenicy. Wyznaczono te własności w różnych fazach dojrzałości pszenicy oraz zbadano wpływ nawożenia na te własności. Stwierdzono, że źdźbła o mniejszym polu przekroju poprzecznego mają lepsze własności mechaniczne.

W pracy przedstawiono układ pomiarowy z komputerową rejestracją wartości siły ściskającej i odkształcenia materiału dostosowany do maszyn wytrzymałościowych typu ZD. Układ i program komputerowy opracowano do badań oraz analizy procesów aglomerowania materiałów sypkich. Ze względu na uniwersalność może być stosowany do badań różnych procesów np. obróbki plastycznej czy do badań właściwości wytrzymałościowych materiałów.

This paper presents the measuring system for resistance machines of the type ZD with computer registration and analysis of the parameters of material compression processes. To measure the force, a ring tensometric transducer was used, while to measure material deformation, the displacement transducer of the type Psx was used. The transducres were connected to the computer with the tensometric amplifier, the instrument with the bearing wave MPL, and the a/d converter. Special computer program was also characterised and its options are described. Measuring system was used for investigating the processes of material agglomerating (condensing, granulation).
