The article presents importance of the legal and financial regulations of Commodity Exchanges in Poland. There are some three crucial aspects of these regulations. Firstly the inside controls must be taken into action, secondly control of the document circulation and finally the management of risk in the commodity market. The Clearing Houses give additional protection against dishonest investors. Besides they can verify and confirm all contracts made on the commodity exchanges. The Clearing Houses calculate necessary value of margin and call for their increase in amount.

This article presents the meaning of the forward transactions in development of agricultural market in Poland. Agricultural forward play far less important role in the agricultural trade than future trade for example. Apart from that fact the agricultural forward transactions should be taken into the consideration as the part of the commodity trade system in Poland. Their construction gives some benefits for both sides of the contract. That is why the agricultural forward transactions are still popular in West Europe. Their role is to support the local producers in reducing trade risk or cost of manufacturing. Popularity of the agricultural forward may give effect to the foundation of the commodity exchanges where the goods are traded by more compound financial instruments.
