Achieving and sustaining close alignment between IT and business is not easy in practice. It is a dynamic and complex process that never ends. There is no one universal formula how to achieve this alignment. However, trying to be better aligned then competitors is imperative for effective IT management - management that should lead to create an enterprise' value. Models measuring the scope of strategic IT alignment elaborated so far are too theoretical and are limited just to measurement of the alignment, giving no answer how to achieve this alignment. Some clues on the directions of required activities are offered by models based on measuring a maturity of processes responsible for creating strategic IT-business alignment. For example briefly described Strategic Alignment Maturity Model defines 6 groups of such a processes: governance, communication, partnership, value measurement, scope and architecture, and skills. Having assessed the maturity of processes in each group the company receives an indication about the direction of activities that are required to minimize the gap of strategic IT alignment. The concept of IT governance based on processes' maturity levels (CobiT) had already gained a wide acceptance of managers, therefore conducting researches in this area and developing strategic IT alignment models is even more attractive.

Badania laboratoryjne próbek mieszanek mineralno-asfaltowych potwierdziły, że ich wyniki zależą od staranności i warunków wykonywania pomiarów. W szczególności, energia zagęszczania próbek ma bardzo duży wpływ na stabilność, gęstość i zawartość wolnych przestrzeni. Istotne jest również utrzymanie odpowiedniej temperatury podczas pomiarów.

Laboratory tests of asphalt mix confirmed that their results depend on accuracy and conditions of measurements. In particular, energy of specimen compaction has very high influence on stability, density and void contents. Maintaining of proper temperature during measurement is also significant.

In the paper, we investigated serially concatenated Reed-Sol o mo n codes (RS) with the space time turbo codes over ring ZM. Performance study of this system is analyzed. The paper presents the simulation results of the system with QPSK modulation and transmission over quasi-static and fast fading multiplc-input-multiple-output (MIMO) channel.

This article presents the results and the analysis of the study of the impact of rubber and synthetic wax on the properties of bitumen 50/70 with an addition of 5÷20% of granular rubber and 1÷2% of synthetic wax. The tests conducted within the study measured penetration, softening point, Fraass breaking point, elastic recovery and dynamic viscosity. Based on the study, the penetration index and the plasticity temperature range were calculated. The results show that the rubber modified with synthetic wax significantly improves the properties of bitumen 50/70.

This paper presents the results and analysis of the study devoted to the effect of RTFOT aging on selected properties of bitumen 50/70 modified with rubber and Fischer-Tropsch synthetic wax. The bitumen used in the tests had 10% and 15% addition of crumb rubber and 1÷2% addition of synthetic wax. The graphs prepared using the Statistica program illustrate the results of tests carried out to determine penetration, softening point, Fraass breaking point, elastic recovery, tensile force and viscosity. Other parameters established in the tests included the penetration index and the temperature range of plasticity. The tests were repeated for all the test series following the RTFOT aging. The results showed that RTFOT aging has a significant effect on the properties of bitumen 50/70.
