Russian offshore hydrocarbon resources are considered in report depending on water areas. Arctic and Far Eastern areas with severe climate and ice conditions are shown to have the greatest resources. Accounts show that expected offshore hydrocarbon production to the year 2030 will be approximately 10-15 per cent of Russian total level. At the same time it is necessary to build shore bases, terminals, production platforms and special service vessels and tankers for oil and CNG transportation. Potential of Russia and other states interested in supplying of expected oil and gas production level is analyzed in report.
