In 3-year pot experiment, it was measured to what extent the cultivation of white mustard as a stubble crop, reduces stem-base diseases infection of three winter wheat varietas grown as a continuous crop. Intensity of wheat infection by complex of stem-base diseases and its productivity depended on the genotype and the environment. Infection index of wheat roots grown after stubble crop was in average 20% lower than wheat grown continuously. Satyna variety was definitely more susceptible to stem-base diseases infection than Kobiera and Sukces. Wheat production depended on the degree of root infection – wheat cultivars grown after stubble crop produced more grain than when grown continuously. Among all varietas, Sukces and Kobiera yielded more grain than Satyna.
