Przyczyną tworzenia w Polsce uprzywilejowanych gospodarczo obszarów, jakimi są Specjalne Strefy Ekonomiczne (SSE), było pobudzenie do rozwoju regionów mniej atrakcyjnych dla inwestorów, terenów zindustrializowanych, o dużym bezrobociu. Celem artykułu jest zbadanie, czy SSE oddziałują na kształtowanie się wybranych czynników warunkujących rozwój regionalny województwa, na którego obszarze są zlokalizowane. W artykule dokonano oceny znaczenia specjalnych stref ekonomicznych dla rozwoju województw. Powyższe cele zostały zrealizowane dzięki analizie wybranych efektów funkcjonowania SSE oraz analizie korelacji z wykorzystaniem współczynnika korelacji. Przeprowadzona analiza objęła lata 2006-2011. Zastosowanie w artykule wybranych metod pozwoliło na sformułowanie wniosku, iż efekty funkcjonowania SSE są współzależne z czynnikami wpływającymi na rozwój województw, na których terenie występują. Polityka regionalna, polegająca na wspieraniu nowych inwestycji na terenach SSE głównie przez zwolnienia z podatku dochodowego, doprowadziła do skutecznej alokacji kapitału na tych terenach.

The reason behind the creation of economically privileged areas such as Special Economic Zones SEZ was to stimulate the development of regions less attractive to investors, e.g. industrialised areas with high unemployment rates. The goal of this paper is to examine whether SEZs have an influence on the selected determinants of regional development in the area of the region in which they are located. The author also evaluates the impact of SEZs on the development of voivodeships. The aforementioned objectives have been fulfilled through analysis of selected effects of the functioning of SEZs and through correlation analysis with the use of the correlation coefficient. The analysis covers the years 2006-2011. The methods chosen in the paper have allowed the author to formulate the conclusion that the effects of the functioning of SEZs are interdependent on the factors affecting the development of the voivodeships in which they are located. Regional policies aimed at supporting new investments in SEZ areas, mainly by granting income tax exemptions, have led to effective allocation of capital in those areas.

In the article poses a two objectives: to make a statistical analysis of investments carried out in agricultural holdings and co-fi nanced with funds from investment credits, and build an econometric model explaining investment decisions by farmers depending on such variables as age, number of years of education, number of household members, sex and marital status. Used in the article statistical methods allowed us to formulate conclusions that the number of signed loan agreements in the coming years is quite diverse, and to undertake investment activities have the greatest impact of gender and number of years of education. This article has been positively verifi ed the hypotheses posed in the article.
