Te nature of the binary interlacing structure endows woven fabric with the ability of information coding. In this paper, we introduce the fundamental concepts and principles of weave code technology. Its potential applications in the fashion and apparel industry are also briefy described. In this paper, we frst present the original concept of weave code technology, which could be defned as coding technology based on the binary structure of the woven structure, or weaving technology which can make codes wearable, fexible and fashionable. This technology could also be considered as a combination of weaving and coding technology, endowing fabric and garments with a coding function, which can be used drectly in the designing, manufacturing, communicating and labeling of textile products. Our research on the fundamental concepts and principles of weave code technology might lead to a preliminary investigation of utilising fabric as a feasible platform or medium for the purpose of representing, encrypting, and communicating information.

A novel watermarking scheme that is capable of hiding authorization data in a gray-level image is proposed in this letter. The proposed scheme generates a key stream to be the key to connect the authorized image and its watermark. The key stream is extra data rather than data being embedded into the authorized image. Such arrangement can guarantee the integrity of the image. To reduce the complexity in computing the key stream for the authorized gray-level image, two techniques are employed in the proposed scheme. One is the concept of rehashing, and the other is the vector quantization. The benefits of the proposal are to provide a key stream to prove the gray-level's ownership, and to keep the authorized image in its original state without any modification.

The paper with watermarks is very special material for printing due to difference in characteristics for areas with watermarks and without latter. During forming of watermarks a paper thickness changes on a Papermaking machine, and calendering influences on different areas of a sheet differently, that is why it is possible to assume that a paper roughness on different areas differs substantially. Surface microgeometry can be characterized by deviation of roughness from the middle line of shape or maximal height of shape inegualities and distance between them (by the wave step). The estimation of shape inequalities of surface can be carried out by the method of profilometry. This method is based on the contact analysis of paper surface area by a thin needle which enables to get the increased image of surface shape by profilometer. In such devices the surface is analyzed by a diamond needle with the radius of rounding of 10-12,5 pm.

The paper presents a digital signal processor (DSP) based system for segmentation of speakers of a telephone conversation. The TMS320C6713 DSP by Texas Instruments in real-time watermarks one interlocutor voice and therefore precise segmentation of both conversation sides is made on a PC without any speaker recognition techniques. The authors also solved the problem of data blocks synchronization and beats caused by differences in the digital-to-analog and the analog-to-digital sampling clock frequencies.

Artykuł prezentuje, zrealizowany na procesorze sygnałowym, system do segmentacji mówców rozmowy telefonicznej. Użyto procesora TMS320C6713 firmy Texas Instruments, który podczas rozmowy oznacza znakiem wodnym jednego z rozmówców. Umożliwia to późniejszą separację mówców bez użycia algorytmów ich rozpoznawania. Autorzy dodatkowo rozwiązali problemy związane z synchronizacją bloków danych i dudnieniami wywołanymi różnicą częstotliwości zegarów taktujących przetworniki analogowo-cyfrowe i cyfrowo-analogowe.

We proposed an OFDM and watermarking based technology system for correspondent identity verification (CIVS) in military telecommunication digital channels. Correspondent personal identity signature (CPIS) is represented by digital watermark. The main idea of this system solution is to verify the end user who sends acoustic signal, e.g., speech, music, etc., via Internet, HF/UHF radio, modem, etc. OFDM modulation scheme is used to prepare secret digital signature. This signature is a single-use secret key used for correspondent verification, thus binary sequence of that key is changing for every session. We describe transmitter and receiver block scheme. The results of experiments for both ideal and degraded signals are described in details too. The results are summarized with comments and conclusion.

Wykazano podstawowe obszary zastosowań zarówno w obszarze aplikacji komercyjnych, jak i mających potencjalne zastosowanie militarne. Szybki postęp, jaki dokonał się w ciągu ostatnich 15 lat w inżynierii znakowania obiektów cyfrowych, świadczy zarówno o dużym zainteresowaniu tą techniką szerokiego grona użytkowników, jak również o wciąż niewykorzystanym w dostatecznym stopniu potencjale tkwiącym w tej technice.

In this paper a sun/ey of the watermarking technique features is presented. The basie watermarking technique makes use of the commercial as well as potentially military applications areas. Fast progress in the signal watermarking engineering has been observed for fifteen years till now. This fact shows this technique is both subject of the large users interest and still is not developed in sufficient a way.
