Bridge on mountain stream Lubienka has superstructure in a form of 2-span, 4-beam reinforced concrete grid. The bridge cross-section was shaped typically for bridges constructed in the first half of the XX century. The outer beams depth is bigger then the inner beams. Degradation of the structure was caused by water running down the edge beams and next on the bridge beams. The bridge strengthening was designed by increase of the inner beams depth to the depth of the outer beams. The space between the existing deck slab and the new slab was filled with polystyrene foam. The outer beams were strengthen with carbon tapes applied on their bottom. Shearing strengthening was made by bridge widening near pillar and abutments. As the result of the reconstruction is a bridge of class B according to PN-85/S-10030 and durability according to clause 1.3.3 defined in [1],
