The paper contains results of simulation research of operating conditions of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM). The purpose of the research was to work out a mathematical mode1 of SRM which reflects well phenomena that occur in such machines. A .mathematical model of the examined transducer implemented in Matlab/Simulink environment was used in calculations. Obtained results of calculations were verified by measurements with the use of the motor's prototype.
