The article deals with the solution to the problem of holding a scanning device – GoPro camera in the vicinity of milling machine EMCO Concept MILL 105, practical part solves the design and production of the fixture. The proposal of the fixture includes the best placing of the fixture within the milling area. On this basis individual variants of this solution are elaborated. The best variant for holding of the camera was selected and fixture production was experimentally performed on a 3D printer – Easy 3D Maker. Fixture functionality was verified on the milling machine.

Tocząca się wojna rosyjsko-ukraińska udowodniła potrzebę wynalezienia konstrukcji chroniącej czołg podstawowy, zwłaszcza jego wieżę, przed zniszczeniem przez bombę albo inny ładunek wybuchowy zrzucon z góry. Niniejszy komunikat z badań opisuje jeden z możliwych pomysłów – czołgowy „parasol”, który zapewnia, przynajmniej w teorii, ochronę wieży czołgu i czołgistów.

In response to the destruction of the hatch of main battle tanks, as has been evidenced in the on-going Russo-Ukrainian War, when a bomb or other explosive device is dropped onto the tank or its turret from above, a protective structure that deflects the device from causing harm to the turret – and thus the tankers – is desirable. This concept paper discusses one possibility: a tank 'umbrella', which offers, at least in theory, protection to the turret and tankers.

W artykule opisano przypadek diagnostyki stanu technicznego budynku Hali Gwardii w Warszawie w aspekcie ozdobnych elementów murowych będących podstawą postępowań powiatowego inspektora nadzoru budowlanego oraz mazowieckiego wojewódzkiego konserwatora zabytków. Przedstawiono pokrótce wyniki badań makroskopowych, wnioski dotyczące elementów murowych obiektu oraz opisano rozwiązania projektowe związane z zabezpieczeniem elementów murowych zapewniające bezpieczeństwo osób i mienia oraz umożliwiające użytkowanie obiektu do czasu podpisania umowy partnerstwa publiczno-prywatnego docelowego remontu obiektu.

The article describes the case of diagnostics of the technical condition of the building of Hala Gwardii in Warsaw in the aspect of decorative wall elements that are the basis for the proceedings of the Poviat Building Supervision Inspector and the Mazowieckie Voivodship Conservator of Monuments. The results of macroscopic examinations, conclusions regarding the masonry elements of the facility were briefly presented, and design solutions related to securing the masonry elements ensuring the safety of people and property and enabling the use of the facility until the signing of a public-private partnership agreement for the final renovation of the facility were described.
