The article brings attention to teaching enunciation (speech) in Polish studies practice of language teaching. Described are the questions of ortofonia, which are becoming increasingly more significant in contemporary language teaching. The text also provides an overview and profiles the most important publications from the realm of phonetics as well as Polish phonology, but mainly those which are targeted towards foreigners learning Polish. The article details the suggested practical solutions involving the teaching of sounds endemic to Polish along with training vocal output. The text puts emphasis on aural exercises and tackling so called disrupted communication.
