Basing on the analysis of available literature, taking into account current state of science in this respect, the influence of electromagnetic non-ionising radiation on living organisms and technical equipment is presented in the article. It has been pointed out that it is not possible to formulate universal principles including the whole of phenomena occurring between a living organism and electromagnetic fields in the current stage of recognising the mechanism of interaction between a living organism and a whole spectrum of electromagnetic fields that appear in the natural environment. Also the electromagnetic fields influence on correct functioning of technical equipment is not definitely explored.
