The divergence in the structure of the education of men and women in the Polish People’s Republic. Between the state policy and individual educational choices (Summary)In the era of the Polish People’s Republic, the gender divergence in the structure of education grew in parallel with an increase in the number of women who obtained secondary and higher school education. The analysis given in the article supplements our knowledge on the topic with details on the analysis presented here, it is possible to specify two factors which, while linked to the educational policy pursued in communist Poland, stood behind the divergence under discussion. First, vocational schools offered training in trades reserved mainly for men, which led women to opt for high school general education. Second, women’s access to some ‘male’ schools was formally restricted. Women’s educational advantage, which was the result of the policy conducted by the state in the fi eld of education, can thus be regarded as having been an unintentional side effect of the reforms introduced in Poland after the Second World War.

The end of World War II coincided with the beginning of the process of establishing the Polish new order whose references were the political, social and economic solutions of the USRR, while its ideological basis was Marxism interpreted by Lenin and Stalin. The establishment of the new political system in accordance with official ideology required transposing its ideas to the practical ground with practical sciences acting as a bridge between abstract thinking and reality. The subject of the following article is an analysis of the assumptions of the Polish socialist organizational studies and its connection with Marxism-Leninism in the years 1956–1981.

The 21st century has brought communities a number of challenges related to local armed conflicts (eg. In Syria and Ukraine). That resulted in the migration of people to the scale, which last time took place during the World War II. Then, this dilemma also affected Polish military special services but the problem was much more complex, because during the WWII, the Polish military intelligence was massacred. That gap in the military staff was filled by commanders of the tormentors. The purpose of this article is illustrate the nature and complexity of demographic, Polish military special forces after 1945 and set out the key issues related to the security of the Polish society in that period.

Dwudziesty pierwszy wiek przyniósł społecznościom szereg wyzwań związanych z lokalnymi konfliktami zbrojnymi (np. w Syrii czy na Ukrainie), co pociągnęło za sobą migrację ludności na skalę, jaka ostatnio wystąpiła podczas II wojny światowej. Ten dylemat bardzo boleśnie dotknął również polskie wojskowe służby specjalne. Problem był o tyle bardziej złożony, że podczas II wojny światowej wojskową inteligencję polską w dosłownym znaczeniu wymordowano. A zatem powstałą lukę kadrową wypełniono dowódcami (oficerami) oprawców, którzy wcześniej czy później zostali rozliczeni przez „chichot” historii.

This material is about the meeting of the State National Council on August 15, 1944, in Lublin. It consists of two parts: the monographic paper and the source document (minutes from the meeting). The issue was not examined from a historical and legal perspectives after 1990, even though it refers to crucial problems of the Polish legal system between 1944 and 1989. An analysis of the above-mentioned protocol demonstrates the scale of rule of law violations, which were at the roots of the People’s Poland (1944-1952) and the Polish People’s Republic (1952). A quasi-parliament (the State National Council) confirmed on August 15, 1944, the decrees which were enacted by an organ not only without powers to do so, but also non-existing in legal terms (the Polish Committee of National Liberation). In this issue of “The Voice of Law”, the first part – the monographic paper – is published.

Poniżej publikowany materiał dotyczy posiedzenia Krajowej Rady Narodowej odbytego w dniu 15 sierpnia 1944 r. w Lublinie. Składa się ono z dwóch części: artykułu monograficznego oraz opracowanego dokumentu źródłowego (protokołu tego posiedzenia). Zagadnienie to nie było badane historyczno-prawnie po 1990 r., mimo że dotyczy zagadnień kluczowych dla ustroju Polski w latach 1944-1989. Analiza ww. protokołu unaocznia ogrom naruszeń praworządności, które legły u podstaw tzw. Polski Ludowej (lata 1944-1952) i PRL (1952). Niby-sejm (KRN) zatwierdził 15 sierpnia 1944 r. dekrety, które wydał organ nie tylko nie posiadający uprawnień do ich wydawania, ale nadto nieistniejący prawnie (PKWN). W niniejszym numerze „Głosu Prawa” zamieszczamy pierwszą część: opracowanie monograficzne.
