W pracy przedstawiono problematykę bezpieczeństwa pożarowego budynków w kontekście aktualnych wymagań stawianych poszczególnym elementom budynków. Wyjaśniono kwestię palności wyrobów w powiązaniu z klasą reakcji na ogień. Przedyskutowano wymagania i klasyfikację wyrobów ze względu na rozprzestrzenianie ognia. Przedstawiono wymagania dotyczące odporności ogniowej oraz podstawy prawne jej wyznaczania. Wszystkie zagadnienia rozpatrywano w aspekcie zastosowań płyt warstwowych.

The paper presents the issue of fire safety of buildings in the context of current requirements for individual elements of buildings. Flammability of products was explained in relation to the class of reaction to fire. The requirements and classification of products in terms of fire spreading properties were discussed. The requirements regarding fire resistance and the legal basis for its determination were presented. All the issues were considered in the context of applications of sandwich panels.

W artykule poruszono temat bezpieczeństwa pożarowego w kontekście rozprzestrzeniania ognia przez otuliny instalacyjne. Przedstawiono sposób badania reakcji na ogień wraz z kryteriami ocen otulin instalacyjnych oraz najważniejsze wymagania, jakie stawiane są tym elementom przez przepisy prawne. Omówiono również alternatywne sposoby oceny stopnia rozprzestrzeniania ognia przez otuliny z wykorzystaniem dwóch innych metod badawczych.

This paper discusses the topic of fire safety in the context of the spread of fire through the pipe heat insulation. The method of testing the pipe heat covering in the terms of reaction to fire together with the evaluation criteria was presented. The most important requirements of these elements are laid down by law. Alternative methods of assessing the degree of the spread of fire through coverings using other two test methods are briefly described.
