Scandinavians create works with the idea of continuity and complementation. The main factor influencing the way of designing architecture is reversed relation between architecture and nature. Sustainable development is the result of activities which aim to preserve natural environment being connected with archetypical forms and to use appropriate technology giving the possibility to adopt buildings to the changing utility and environmental conditions. The best example of this idea is the complex of "Hestra" buildings quarters, being the representation of four Scandinavian countries localized in Boras (Sweden).
