Modern database systems connected with an Internet administration panel in www browser are an excellent tool for collecting and ordering an expert knowledge. A knowledge acquisition process is the most, time consuming stage in the procedure of creating a new rule expert system and usually demands many repetitions and arrangements between a knowledge engineer and an expert engineer from a specific area. Authors of this article, are interested in an expert knowledge related to failures of composites materials, that are popular materials used in the production of many articles used in everyday life. Data about composites failures stored in the SQL database systems were converted into the txt file i.e. rules and facts database for the JESS reasoning machine. JESS is a modification of the CLIPS language and gives an knowledge engineer opportunity to do expert system xuith elements of JAVA language. In this article was presented a construction of the rules and fads generator and a way of integration it with a www application named the Multimedia Atlas of Composites Failures.
