To understand where we are, we should now from where we came. The project preview creating representation space, an entrance for historical city. It is needed to create not only a place for passing through but also a square to stay there for a while with entourage of monuments, like the Jan Zamoyski Palace, the Cathedral, the Zamoyski Academy an historical main gates to the city. A piazza can be organized on a base of a rectangle module with a game of different levels and steps. The Szczebrzeska Gate should restore its previews destination - like a main gate to the city. From one gate to another guide a curve on pavement which also guide (from one side) to the Zamoyski Academy and (from other) to The Cathedral. To return to the historical ideal plan for Zamość made by Bernardo Morando, main axis with a closure of the Palace should be seen clearly. It is also suggested to re-route existing street which is a visual and mental barrier. In front of the Palace should be organized green area with trees, and car park should be places in a background of the building. It is also planned to create of new big parking outside of the historical city (on a place of existing private garden area).
