W pracy przedstawiono jest koncepcja architektoniczna i projekt konstrukcyjny stacji poboru opłat na autostradzie. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono zadaszeniu nad całym kompleksem stacji, które stanowi powłoka żelbetowa w kształcie łupiny o wymiarach 46,0 x 21,20 m i wysokości 9,2 m wsparta na czterech podporach i dwóch słupach pośrednich. Istnieje obiektywna potrzeba projektowania także na autostradach obiektów będących pod względem architektonicznym źródłem artystycznego wyrazu ich twórcy. W projektowanej stacji poboru opłat skupiono szczególną uwagę na zadaszenie nad całym kompleksem, które nadaje niepowtarzalny charakter obiektowi.

The subject of this work is the architectural concept and structural design of toll station on the highway. Particular attention was paid to the structure of the roof, which is a reinforced concrete shell. The dimension of the roof is 46,0 x 21,20 m and a height of 9,20 m. It is supported by the four pillars and two intermediate columnes. There is an objective need to design objects that are on the highways architecturally source of artistic expression of their creators. In the proposed toll station on the highway focuses particular attention to roof over the whole complex, which lends a unique character object.

W artykule przedstawiono ocenę stanu technicznego oraz metodę naprawy chłodni kominowej, która uległa przemrożeniu w wyniku nagłego wyłączenia z ruchu podczas silnych mrozów. Diagnozę stanu chłodni sformułowano na podstawie wyników przeprowadzonych badań diagnostycznych, które posłużyły do opracowania technologii naprawy i zabezpieczenia powłoki żelbetowej chłodni z uwzględnieniem wymagań w zakresie trwałości. Na tej podstawie zrealizowano I etap remontu chłodni, obejmujący naprawę i zabezpieczenie jej płaszcza wewnętrznego, skupiając uwagę na sposobie realizacji oraz ocenie wykonania tych prac.

The paper presents the assessment of the technical state and the concept of repair of a cooling tower damaged by frost penetration. Based on the results of inspection and laboratory tests the method for repair and protection of the damaged reinforced concrete shell is presented with regard to durability. Moreover, the first stage of the performed works is described which included the repair and protection of the inner surface of the RC shell with quality assessment of the workmanship.

This investigation is carried out to evaluate the repair and strengthening the techniques of elliptical paraboloid reinforced concrete shells with openings. An experimental program of several different techniques in repair and strengthening is executed. The materials, which are considered for strengthening, are; Glass fiber reinforced polymers GFRP at different position of the shell bottom surface, steel strip and external tie. They loaded by four concentrated loads affected on the corners of the opening. The initial and failure loads as well as the crack propagation for the tested shells at different loading stages, defl ections and failure load for repaired and shells are recorded. A non-linear computer program based on finite element techniques is used to study the behavior of these types of shells. Geometric and materials nonlinearities are considered in the analysis. The efficiency and accuracy of computer program are verifi ed by comparing the program results with those obtained experimentally for the control shell with opening and strengthened shells.

W artykule przedstawiono opis oraz wyniki oceny stanu technicznego konstrukcji przekrycia Hali Głównej Dworca Kolejowego Gdańsk Główny. Ze względu na prowadzone prace związane z remontem kapitalnym Dworca Głównego PKP w Gdańsku zaistniała konieczność przeprowadzenia rewitalizacji poddasza Hali Głównej, obejmująca między innymi jego termomodernizację (ocieplenie wysklepek) oraz zabezpieczenie elementów wiązarów dachowych przed pożarem. W celu oceny stanu technicznego sklepień oraz poziomu wytężenia elementów konstrukcyjnych dachu wykonano szereg badań i pomiarów, w tym skanowanie zbrojenia żelbetowych sklepień kolebkowych z zastosowaniem detektora ferromagnetycznego w celu oceny średnicy, rozstawu i grubości otulenia prętów zbrojenia łupin oraz badania ultradźwiękowe betonu przy użyciu betonoskopu w celu oszacowania wytrzymałości betonu na ściskanie, jego jednorodności oraz grubości płaszcza powłoki. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki wykonanych badań i analiz, które pozwoliły na zaproponowanie sposobu naprawy cienkościennych sklepień żelbetowych typu Rabitza.

The article presents a description and results of the assessment of the technical condition of the roof covering of the Main Hall of the Gdańsk Główny Railway Station. Due to the ongoing works related to the major renovation of the Main Railway Station in Gdańsk, it was necessary to revitalize the attic of the Main Hall, including, among others, its thermal modernization (insulation of the vaults) and securing the roof truss elements against fire. In order to assess the technical condition of the vaults and the level of effort of the roof structural elements, a number of tests and measurements were carried out, including scanning the reinforcement of reinforced concrete barrel vaults with the use of a ferromagnetic detector to assess the diameter, spacing and cover thickness of the shell reinforcement bars, and ultrasonic testing of concrete using a concrete scope to estimating the compressive strength of concrete, its homogeneity and the thickness of the coating. The article presents the results of the tests and analyzes carried out, which allowed to propose a method of repairing thin-walled reinforced concrete vaults of the Rabitz type.
