Because of its advantages, brushing processing has many uses. The main ones include the removal of corrosion products, surface cleaning, deburring and shaping the properties of the surface layer. The intensity of these processes depends on the degree of impact of brush fibres on the work surface. In the case of tools, in which the resilient fibres are the working elements, forces in the brushing process, apart from the machining parameters, depend on the characteristics and overall dimensions of individual fibres. The paper presents the results of studies of the influence of technological parameters and type of fibres on the radial force in the brushing process.
Slewing bearings are applied commonly in the following devices inter alia: harbour cranes, traveling cranes, radar stations, machinery underground and an opencast mining, armaments industry, building machines, medical analysis devices, rotary kilns, manufacturing systems, a power engineering. A static limiting load curve of the slewing bearings describes ranges of the allowable loads, which the bearing can be safely carried for assumption by a manufacturer durability. The static carrying capacity of a slewing bearing describe the relationship between a tilting moment M and an axial force Fa for assumed a value of a radial force Fr. The article concerns problems related to catalo selection of rolling bearings which are loaded the large radial forces which may by differently directed in relation to a tilting moment's vector. Manufactures of the slewing bearings mostly does not present in product catalogs of a static limiting load curve, which have taken into account an action the radial forces. According to an INA company, the radial forces are reduced to determining an equivalent tilting moment and an equivalent axial force. In this work, the static limiting load curves have been determined based on the FEM models, the equations of contact mechanics for the ball and the bearing raceway. The models were performed by use the ADINA system. Juxtaposition of results obtained on a basis of method's INA company and own model have been presented in form the static limiting load curves. The object of the analysis was the one row ball slewing bearing, domestic production, which is used in excavator type F250H.
W artykule zaprezentowano sposób określenia zależności między siłą promieniową obciążającą łożysko kulkowe wzdłużne a przesunięciem promieniowym jednego pierścienia względem drugiego. Przesunięcie takie może się pojawić w typowym łożyskowaniu i w konsekwencji doprowadzić do przedwczesnego zużycia łożyska. Metodę określenia tej zależności (nazwanej sztywnością promieniową) zilustrowano przykładowymi wynikami obliczeniowymi, uzyskanymi za pomocą programu komputerowego.

Method of determination the relationship between the radial force loading the bearing and radial displacement of one ring relative to the other was presented in the paper. Such displacement may occur in a typical bearing and consequently lead to premature wear of bearing. The method of determining this relationship (called radial stiffness), was illustrated by examples of computational results, obtained using suitable computer program.
This article deals with the possibilities of adhesion force changes of a road vehicle. The authors present the possibilities of reducing the adhesion force of road vehicles and, at the same time, present their own system for changing the radial reaction of the vehicle wheels. This system removes the disadvantages of a commercially available SkidCar system. A representative road test is chosen in the article to determine the stability in a straight-line drive. Furthermore, the authors report the courses of characteristic parameters describing the behavior of a vehicle for driving a conventional car on a sliding surface and compared to the 50 % radial reaction of a vehicle driven with the SlideWheel on dry asphalt. It is clear from the measured runs that it is possible to change the adhesion force by changing the adhesion weight transmitted by the vehicle wheels. The use of the proposed SlideWheel system is possible for the purpose of verifying vehicle stability, while improving the driver's ability to operate the vehicle under reduced-adhesion conditions. The main goal of this paper is to design a system for reducing the adhesive force in an experimental car and perform experimental measurements.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki pomiarów sił dla różnych konstrukcji wierteł z płytkami wymiennymi. Pomiary wykonano podczas obróbki stali WCL w stanie miękkim (295 HV02) i zahartowanym (58 HRC). Przeanalizowano wpływ przekroju poprzecznego warstwy skrawanej w strefie przy osi wiertła na wartość siły promieniowej F,7, oraz wypadkowej siły odporowej Fp. Oceniono zmiany stosunku obciążenia ostrza wewnętrznego do zewnętrznego dla wiertła z płytkami wymiennymi w zależności od stanu materiału obrabianego (miękki, zahartowany).

In the article results of forces measurements for various constructions of indexable insert drills have been shown. Measurements have been carried out during machining of the WCL steel in soft (295 HVo,2) and hardened (58 HRC) state. Influence of cut form in zone near axis of the drills on value of radial force F,.p and resultant thrust force F,, has been analyzed. Comparison of changes of load on internal wedge to load on external wedge ratio for given construction of indexable insert drill depending on state of work material (soft, hardened) has been done as well.
Aluminum alloy 7075-T651 is a widely used material in the aviation, marine, and automobile sectors. The wide application marks the importance of this material’s research in the manufacturing field. This research focuses on optimizing input process parameters of the turning process in the machining of Aluminum 7075-T651 with a tungsten carbide insert. The input machining parameters are cutting speed, feed, and depth of cut for the output response parameters cutting force, feed force, radial force, material removal, and surface roughness of the workpiece. For optimization of process parameters, the Taguchi method, with standard L9 orthogonal array, is used. ANOVA is applied to obtain significant factors and optimal combinations of process parameters.
