The aim of this article is to present both the conditions of the functioning of organizational control in the context of the stimulation of entrepreneurial behaviours and the research model. The discussion constitutes a part of a larger research project carried out in 84 branches of a Bank in Poland. Partieularly, the purpose of the examination is to deterrnine the influence of organizational control on the effectiveness of an organization and the intensity of internal entrepreneurship. The above suggested model refers to the division of control into financial control, strategic control and strategic planning control made by Campbell and Goold. The conducted research has a configurational character and examines the notion of control in the context of business strategy, environment and organizational culture.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie warunków funkcjonowania kontroli organizacyjnej w aspekcie stymulowania zachowań przedsiębiorczych i prezentacja modelu badawczego. Opracowanie stanowi część większego projektu badawczego prowadzonego w 84 placówkach Banku w Polsce. W szczególności celem badań jest ustalenie wpływu kontroli na efektywność organizacji i natężenie przedsiębiorczości wewnętrznej. Proponowany model odwołuje się do podziału kontroli według Campbell'a i Goold'a na kontrolę finansową, strategiczną i kontrolę strategicznego planowania. Prowadzone badania mają charakter konfiguracyjny i rozpatrują zagadnienie kontroli w kontekście strategii, otoczenia i kultury organizacyjnej.

In recent times, the world has faced environmental challenges like deforestation, Global warming, soil erosion, water pollution, air pollution, and water scarcity. In order to solve the stakeholder demands and challenges, business houses must find answers. Companies must incorporate sustainability into their operations and operate with an entrepreneurial attitude. Sustainably oriented business operations may help firms reduce negative environmental impacts while simultaneously creating shared benefits for themselves and society, called sustainable corporate entrepreneurship. Such entrepreneurial activity helps an organization to achieve sustainable development goals. This research analyses the importance of sustainable corporate entrepreneurship in attaining the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals in a developing country like India through a case study methodology. The study integrates several aspects of sustainable innovation concerning various areas of sustainable development goals. Further Implications, Limitations, and future research directions have been considered.

Przedsiębiorcy społeczni angażują się w rozwiązywanie różnorodnych problemów społecznych. Dzięki specyficznym cechom charakteru i ogromnej determinacji działania są w stanie przyczyniać się do wprowadzania zmian systemo¬wych ukierunkowanych na łagodzenie różnego rodzaju napięć społecznych. Ich misją jest poprawa bytu słabszych (marginalizowanych, wykluczonych), którzy z jakichś powodów nie są w stanie sami walczyć o swoją sytuację. Mimo iż przedsiębiorcy społeczni działają z zupełnie innych pobudek niż przedsiębiorcy komercyjni - ich zachowania tak na¬prawdę niewiele różnią się od siebie. Realizują co prawda inne cele, ale sposób ich działania i pełnione funkcje są bar¬dzo podobne. Wszyscy przedsiębiorcy (niezależnie od sektora działalności) są skupieni na realizacji określonych celów, kierując się silną motywacją wewnętrzną, ponoszą ryzyko działalności, wdrażają innowacje, są agentami zmian itp.

Despite the fact that social entrepreneurs have various types of social tensions. Their mission is to improve the condition of the poorer (marginalized, excluded), who completely different motives than commercial entrepreneurs - their behaviour is actually very similar. They fulfil different objectives, but the way they act, functions they perform are very alike. All entrepreneurs (irrespective of the type).
