Starting with the reflection on the common essence of the disintegration of the mechanistic paradigm in physics, as well as the empirical and positivist paradigms in epistemology and philosophy, which resulted in the postmodern turn, the author considers differences between nihilistic relativism and the free creation of new worlds in postmodern thinking. The latest tendency should be connected with the hermeneutic attitude to the understanding of the evolutionary process of life and to intensify its positive elements. This results in the appreciation of the proper role of Logos and mind in the existence of the world, as well as the idea of the intersubjective, creative Participatory Mind constantly co-creating the universe. The idea of the Participatory Mind is a determinant of the New Hermeneutic and New Epistemology, which is described precisely in the article.
