The method of diagnostics and an estimation of a condition of process of construction of a ship on the basis of integrated characteristics in PERT system is shown in the paper. The mathematical apparatus of the description of integrated characteristics and procedure of determination of their parameters is given. The technology of forming of the integrated characteristic of discrete production on the basis of Gantt chart and procedure of an estimation of a condition given process as object of management under the scheme "times-resources" is resulted. The result is illustrated by an example of construction of a ship of type "river-sea".

Zespół portów w Szczecinie i Świnoujściu obsługuje wszystkie rodzaje środków zaplecza. W porcie Szczecin wymagających naprawy (stan na 2008r) jest aż 56% natomiast w Świnoujściu 30% torów. Dlatego jednym z głównych przedsięwzięć do 2013 roku jest modernizacja i rozbudowa infrastruktury kolejowej. Celem modernizacji dróg kolejowych w obu portach jest zapewnienie bezpiecznego układu komunikacyjnego dostosowanego do zwiększającego się natężenia ruchu pojazdów oraz utrzymanie na stałym poziomie lub zwiększenie obsługi ładunków tym transportem. Modernizacja i rozbudowa dróg kolejowych wpłynie pozytywnie na lepszą dostępność techniczno – technologiczną Zespołu Portów oraz zwiększy promowany przez Unię Europejską przewóz ładunków środkami ekologicznymi jakim z pewnością jest przewóz ładunków koleją.

Complex of ports Szczecin and Świnoujście supports all types of facilities. In the port of Szczecin 56% of tracks requires repairs and 30% in Świnoujście (date of 2008) Therefore, one of the major projects to 2013 is modernisation of railways in both ports to provide secure communications system adapted to the increasing traffic and maintain stable or increasing cargo handling including transport. Modernisation and expansion of railways will better technical-technological availability of the ports and will increase promoted by the European Union environmental cargo measures which certainly is the carriage of cargo by rail.

The article presents selected technical information regarding the harbour in Szczecin. The author, former hydrotechnician of the harbour, discusses the structure of wharves and fairways. He points to the fact that this is an important technical project, requiring a detailed approach and taking numerous and various determinants into account.

Odpowiednie wyposażenie portów wpływa na sprawność obsługi statków pasażerskich i zapewnia właściwe warunki i zorganizowany postój statku w porcie, natomiast pasażerskie statki śródlądowe mają zagwarantować bezpieczeństwo i komfort podróżowania. W artykule przedstawiono cechy i parametry techniczno-eksploatacyjne śródlądowych statków pasażerskich wpływających do Szczecina oraz uwarunkowania ich obsługi w porcie.

Effective functioning of inland passenger transport depends on availability, density and quality of transport infrastructure, both liner, and pointwise as well as potentiality and equipment of inland vessels. Proper ports equipment affects inland vessels port handling efficiency, provides appropriate conditions and organizes vessel stay in the port, whereas passenger inland vessels have to guarantee safe and comfort of travelling. The article shows features as well as technical and operating parameters of passenger inland vessels calling of the port of Szczecin. Moreover it describes vessels handling determinants.
