In the article essential problems have been discussed relating to combat actions planning in rocket and artillery troops stressing a specific character of racket and artillery units’ work on the background of command process biding in the land forces. The most significant difference lies in narrower range of planning as the time and location arrangements that oblige to use subordinate troops are worked out in the superior general military staff. In such a situation the rocket and artillery troops’ staffs have limited possibilities of operation and focus on technical development of fire support tasks. The final part of the article presents basic planning documents. Their form and contents include appropriate standard agreements binding in NATO and also structural – organisational conditions and technical equipment of our rocket and artillery troops’ commands.
