The article presents a model of personalist biography that stands in opposition to the postmodernist one. The personalist biography model refers in terms of anthropology to Viktor E. Frankl, the founder of logotherapy (‘Third Viennese School of Psychotherapy’) and the key thinkers of the personalist movement: Karol Wojtyła, Mieczysław Krąpiec, Józef Tischner and Czesław S. Bartnik. Stressing the subjective aspect of biography, the personalist model allows for capturing the personal character of the created biographical portrait of a given person while also taking into account the postulates formed by the critics of biographical writing in its traditional and later structuralist forms, especially the postulates related to the requirement of biographer’s objectivity and neutrality. The personalist biography model also takes into consideration the insights of the French theorists on the inevitable involvement of the researcher in the reconstructed picture of a life and the considerations on the character of representation (by F. Ankersmit and M. P. Markowski).

Artykuł zgłębia ideę integracji osobowej jako ciągłego, dynamicznego procesu pozytywnej dezintegracji i integracji wtórnej, który obejmuje harmonijny i holistyczny rozwój fizycznych, psychicznych, duchowych i wspólnotowych aspektów ludzkiej natury . Podkreśla się rolę miłości jako najwyższej wartości w aktywizowaniu doświadczeń świata wewnętrznego . Autorzy przekonują, że pokochanie siebie na poziomie zinte-growanej osobowości pozwala na zrewidowanie świata potrzeb, który osiąga swoją najwyższą aktualność w uznaniu prawa do wolności i prawdy . Akceptacja drugiego i afirmacja drugiego są zachowaniami wyrastającymi z miłości, która jest postrzegana jako materialny i duchowy dynamizm człowieka . Osiągnięcie poziomu doświadczeń duchowych warunkujących pojawienie się miłości jako tworzywa kształtującego on-tyczny stan miłości oblubieńczej wymaga wyboru priorytetu drugiej osoby jako normy personalistycznej oraz doświadczenia pełnej odpowiedzialności za jej życie

The article explores the idea of personal integration as a continuous, dy-namic process of positive disintegration and secondary integration, which involves the harmonious and holistic development of the physical, psychological, spiritual, and communal aspects of human nature . The role of love as the highest value activating experiences in the inner world is emphasised . The authors argue that loving oneself at the level of an integrated personality allows for the revision of the world of needs, which reaches its highest validity in the recognition of the right to freedom and truth .Acceptance and affirmation of others are behaviours that stem from love, which is seen as the material and spiritual dynamism of human beings . Achieving the adequate level of spiritual experiencesnecessary for the emergence of love as the substance shaping the ontic state of betrothal requires prioritising the other person as a personalistic norm and experiencing full responsibility for their life.
