Content available remote Integrated design for large-scale opto-mechanical structure
100%
EN
An integrated design method is discussed which thoroughly considers related parameters of the various subsystems in order to optimize the overall system that mainly consists of opto-mechanical structure CAD, CAE and the integrated information platform PDM. Based on the parameter drive of the virtual main model, the method focuses on the model transformation and data share among different design and analysis steps, and so the concurrent simulation and design optimization are carried out. As an example of application, the integrated design for a large-scale opto-mechanical structure is introduced, including optical design, structure design and analysis, which further validates the advantages of the method. Due to comprehensive consideration of the design and analysis process by CAD and CAE based on PDM, the integrated design well attains the structure optimization with high efficiency.

The process of biodeterioration of optical glass was studied after being induced by an auxiliary material (lubricant 4CKP) used in the production of optical instruments. It was determined that the lubricant can initiate growth of conidia of Aspergillus niger fungus. Acid spawn metabolites cause deterioration of the glass surface. Measurements of laser light beam transmittance through the glass plate and the AAS chemical analysis method of the post-culture fluid allowed to determine that glass with a high SiO₂ content is most resistant to corrosion caused by the growth of A. niger fungi spawn.

The aim of the present study was to determine a correlation between nitrogen fertilisation and leaf chlorophyll content as measured using an optical instrument – a chlorophyll meter and an effect of different nitrogen fertilisation doses on the yield and quality of leaves of the ‘Wiœlica’ cultivar of the Virginia tobacco. To this purpose, a field experiment was conducted, in which varied nitrogen fertilisation was applied. During the vegetation period leaf chlorophyll content was examined, using the chlorophyll meter, as well as leaf nitrogen content. After harvesting and drying the leaves, the yield was assessed in terms of quantity and then graded according to its quality. Statistical analysis carried out afterwards demonstrated that the increase in nitrogen fertilisation had resulted in the yield growth together with the deterioration of the raw product quality. The results of the measurements with the chlorophyll meter proved to be closely correlated with nitrogen content in leaf blades.
