Artykuł powstał w oparciu o referat pt. Zmienny ośli świat. O ekoteatralnej podróży i boskiej przyrodzie w „Metamorfozach” Apulejusza z Madaury, wygłoszony 10 czerwca 2016 roku podczas Ogólnopolskiej Konferencji Naukowej „Przestrzeń w perspektywie geo- i ekopoetyki. Interpretacje” na Uniwersytecie w Białymstoku. Wybór tematu stanowi efekt doświadczeń naukowych autora w Pracowni Ekologii Teatru na Wydziale „Artes Liberales” Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego.

The article offers the reading of the ancient novel Metamorphoses, otherwise known as The Golden Ass by Apuleius. It relies on the theoretical frame of theater ecology (or oikology), which is the artistic concept initiated and practiced by Włodzimierz Staniewski at the Academy for Theater Practices “Gardzienice”. The nomadic and ecocentric aspects of this perspective indicate its similarities with geopoetics. The geographical space, nature and spirituality intertwine as the protagonist, who turns into a donkey and is introduced to the cult of the goddess Isis, sets on a journey in the search of οἶκος (home).

"Return to oikology" is our imperative that tells us what we are obligated to do with home in times of homelessness, migration, and travelling. The domestic thinking can lead us to extension our thought of home and emplacement, entering the remoteness and openness. The idea of being off the beaten track brings our domestication and dwelling again. Serious thinking about home and locality shows anew the task that becomes our challenge. Oikology uncover a poverty of being attached to the nomadic thoughts. We recognize the house in a place off the beaten track - on the sidelines of the world, on the sidelines of discourses, on the sidelines of the official route of culture, on the sidelines promoted the mobility of people and things, but on the sidelines of propaganda of stability and familiarity. We are already so far removed to see the house again, but close enough not to lose the simplicity of home. Oikology leads us to the disquieting question: are you really convinced of that house so easily let you go into all the world?

The aim of this article is to present a proposal for supplementing the humanities with the posthuman activist onto-epistemological tools. The author, taking the concept of the posthuman community as a starting point, performs the process of rethinking the oikology – a philosophy of the home that grew out of Silesia. Posthuman oikology is intended to transcend the limitations encountered by ecological thought towards the author’s concept of eco-logic. Eco-logical humanities are intended as an affirmative response to the cognitive crisis associated with, among other things, climate change and the predicted catastrophe.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie propozycji uzupełnienia myśli humanistycznej o posthumanistyczne aktywistyczne narzędzia ontoepistemologiczne. W tym celu autor, biorąc za punkt wyjścia koncepcję posthumanistycznej wspólnoty, dokonuje przez jej pryzmat relektury oikologii – wyrosłej na gruncie śląskim nauki o domu. Posthumanistyczna oikologia ma stanowić przekroczenie ograniczeń, na jakie napotyka myśl ekologiczna, w kierunku autorskiej koncepcji eko-logiki. Uprawiana w jej duchu humanistyka ma stanowić afirmatywną odpowiedź na kryzys poznawczy związany m.in. ze zmianami klimatu i zapowiadaną katastrofą.
