Życie we współczesnym świecie uległo w pewnym stopniu przesunięciu w funkcjonowaniu jednostek w wielu obszarach. W niniejszym tekście skupiono uwagę głównie na takich sferach jak komunikacja, śledzenie i dzielenie się informacjami oraz kultura związana ze sportem, które nabierają w rzeczywistości hybrydalnej nowego znaczenia. Wspomniane dziedziny łączą się, tworząc i umożliwiając nowy rodzaj interakcji międzyludzkiej. Relacjonowanie, komentowanie czy zamieszczanie informacji dotyczących osiągnięć sportowych nie stanowi co prawda żadnego novum, jednakże aktualnie taki stan rzeczy znacząco zyskuje na znaczeniu i poszerza się o śledzenie informacji dotyczących prywatnego życia i funkcjonowania osób uprawiających różnorodne dyscypliny sportowe. Kultury, które wytworzyły się wokół rożnych aktywności fizycznych, w znacznie większym stopniu mają możliwość poszerzania i promowania określonego sportu dzięki publikowaniu informacji w przestrzeni cyfrowej. Nabiera to szczególnego znaczenia w odniesieniu do dyscyplin, które nie są popularne, bądź należą do typu sportów ekstremalnych czy wysokobudżetowych. Dzięki obecności przedstawicieli tychże aktywności w przestrzeni wirtualnej możliwe jest ich promowanie, rozpowszechnianie i zyskiwanie większej rzeszy pasjonatów.

Life in the modern world has shifted to some extent in the functioning of individuals in many areas. This paper focuses mainly on such spheres as communication, tracking and sharing information, and sport-related cultures, which take on a new meaning in the hybrid reality. These fields combine to create and enable a new type of human interaction. Reporting, commenting, or posting information on sports achievements is not a novelty, but currently this state of affairs is significantly gaining in importance and expanding to tracking information about the private life and functioning of people practicing various sports disciplines. Cultures that have developed around various physical activities are much more able to expand and promote a particular sport by publishing information in the digital space. It is particularly important in relation to disciplines that are not popular or are extreme or high-budget sports. Thanks to the presence of these activities in the virtual space, it is possible to promote, disseminate them, and gain a larger group of enthusiasts.

Irregularity of rotational speed of diesel engine with modified fuel injection system

The operation of diesel engine is closely connected with controlling the process of injecting the fuel into the cylinder. It influences proper combustion process, which translates directly into irregular engine operation resulting in dumping and noise. It is related to improper control of fuel injection which is connected with improper completion of expected control strategy that can be a result of defective injection system. Irregular engine operation can also be caused by total lack of initiated combustion process in specific cylinder of the engine or in several cylinders, described as misfire, or ca be a result of differences in combustion process in individual operation cycles / engine cylinders. The effect is an engine working irregularly (there is instability of rotational speed) and emitting increased amount of pollutants. As a consequence the secondary fuel purification systems located in the exhaust system can be damaged. Therefore, it is required to choose the fuel injection control parameters in a way that enables detecting and correcting the process of fuel injection in order to minimize effects resulting from improper process of fuel combustion in individual cylinders or even lack thereof. It is useful to suggest diagnostic parameter that can be used to detect engine faultiness or elements of the accessories such as e.g. injection system. Ability to apply such control and correction of injection dose is provided by modified mechatronic in-line injection pump. The study shows results of researches on modified injection system with mechatronic in-line injection pump that enables identification of misfire and preventing irregular operation of diesel engine.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie podstawowych wymagań, jakie powinny spełniać koła jezdne do pojazdów wysokiej mobilności. Zakres wymagań i analiz został ograniczony do łazików kontakcie koła z podłożem, w tym łazika Scorpio X, tworzonego przez Koło Naukowe OFF-ROAD działające na Wydziale Mechanicznym PWr. Autorzy scharakteryzowali aktualne rozwiązania stosowane w pojazdach najlepszych, wybranych kół studenckich z całego świata. Punktem wyjścia była analiza sił działających na koła jezdne analizowanego pojazdu w wybranych warunkach ruchu. Oceniono również istniejące rozwiązanie wykonania kół materiałowych wykonanych z materiału Cordura.

The target of this article is to define requirements which should be satisfied by wheels of high mobility vehicle. Divagations are made based of mars rovers, including Scorpio X rover made by OFF-ROAD Student Association based at Mechanical Faculty at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Authors introduced several solutions applied by the most successful teams from all around the world. The starting point was the analysis of the forces acting on the road wheels of the analysed vehicle in selected traffic conditions. The existing solution for fabric wheels made of Cordura was also assessed.
