The article discusses the concept of laboratory practical performance test and military traning ground devices such as ballistic vests with balistic cartridges meants for the formation of the three members of the Government Protection Agency (BOR), Prevention Branch Police (OPP) and the Border Guard (SG). Innovation of the method consists of, first of all, the ability to assess the special-purpose products under controlled conditions and to repeat a similar sequence of exercises under conditions similar to use in real conditions. Supplemented by the subjective assessment of ballistic products carried out by the testing users, is to evaluate their psychophysical performance as well as the subjective mental load before and after the planned exercises. The presented methodology allows the credibility of the evaluation results of usability special-purpose, which because of the need to provide a protective barrier against harmful factors of working environment, always arouse resentment and fears of members felt discomfort associated with.

Przedstawiono wstęp do modelowania wybuchu na pojazd z uwzględnieniem fali wtórnej oddziaływującej na pojazd. Ze względu na zobrazowanie zjawiska kadłub ciężkiego pojazdu gąsienicowego dostosowano do uwypuklenia zjawiska poprzez pocienienie ścian bocznych. Podobne parametry pancerza bocznego posiadają pojazdy słabo opancerzone stosowane powszechnie na świecie.

Article presents introduction to modeling blast wave impact on a vehicle taking into account the reflected (secondary) wave. For the purpose of the analysis thick hull walls were thinned to outline the effect. Presented methodology can be adopted to analyze hulls of commonly used light armored vehicles.

Przedstawiono wyniki modelowania wpływu oddziaływania fali ciśnienia pochodzącej od wybuchu miny lub IED na człowieka znajdującego się w lekkoopancerzonym transporterze kołowym. Otrzymane wyniki świadczą, że siły i przeciążenia działające na wybrane organy człowieka są tak duże, że mogą skutkować poważnymi obrażeniami. Analizy rozszerzono o badanie elementów hiperelastycznych, które doskonale nadają się do zastosowania w elementach tłumiących.

The paper presents some numerical results of mine or IED blast wave effects on wheeled light armored vehicle personnel. The analyses show that g-forces on several human organs are so high that they lead to severe injuries or death. Additional analyses of hyperelastic elements showed enhanced damping capabilities which will be further studied.

W artykule poprzez analizę literatury omówiono główne problemy związane z kryterium urazu głowy. Przeprowadzono testy balistyczne ostrzelania hełmu kompozytowego, rejestrując wybrane wartości. Dokonując oceny wyników eksperymentalnych i danych zawartych w normach oraz literatury, sformułowano wnioski i kierunki dalszych prac.

The paper presents main issues regarding a head injury criterion, based on an analysis of available publications. After conducting ballistic tests, i.e. firing at composite helmet, the specific data was registered. An examination of test results, as well as data from both regulations and literature, resulted in a formulation of conclusions and marked out further research.
