The development of globalisation processes has influenced all the countries of the world and all areas of human activity. In terms of globalisation, there is increasing international cooperation between companies and development of construction markets become more rapid. This stimulates competition between contractors and forces them to review their operation strategies. Taking the decision upon entering markets abroad it is necessary to estimate and evaluate important factors and criteria. The problem issue of this work is as follows: how to choose the right market segment in construction industry? This paper presents a new methodology developed for implementation and execution of formalized market search and target segment identification process. The target markets are identified according to the multiple criteria decision-making methodology (Game theory and models for selection of the definite alternative solution based on the highest efficiency). The work was focused on the analysis of construction markets in 3 countries: Germany, Lithuania and Russia (Kaliningrad region), which differ in many demographic, economic and political terms. Such situation provides possibilities for more effective capacity utilization in construction industry. Choosing the right way of entering a host country market and selecting the target market segment benefits the company in financial and legal aspects.

As a result of the growing road transport flows and increasing human mobility, and due to the growth in the level of motorisation, the current road network and the entire infrastructure often no longer meet the needs and expectations of the user. The user's dissatisfaction with the current road network determined the relevance of this paper. As the analysis of the scientific research literature and the actual situation shows, more and more factor elements are influencing transportation and its quality, and at the same time cause certain problems, such as pollution, noise, accidents, traffic volume, etc. With the help of expert and multiple criteria evaluation and using a systemic approach, the authors of the present paper establish groups of factors for the evaluation of road transportation quality as well as the elements that characterise the said groups, and perform an evaluation of the significance of group elements.

This study presents an integration of fuzzy sets theory with analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to model landslide hazard. The approach involves developing expert knowledge from existing landslide datascts which arc used for standardizing digital terrain attributes, a pairwise comparison method for the elicitation of attribute weights, and their subsequent aggregation through weighted linear combination (WLC) and ordered weighted average fOWA) function to generate landslide hazard maps. The approach enhances tlic methodology for modeling landslide hazard in roaded and roadless areas through the derivation of probabilistic maps. The maps can be used as a decision support tool in forest management and planning. A case study from the Clearwater National Forest in central Idaho, USA, illustrates the application of the approach in a practical setting.
