The color contrast was used at the study of influence of modifier quantity on the basis of strontium on the structure and properties of silumin AlSi10MgMn by the evaluation of structure and some intermetallic phases not identifyed by classic metallographic metods were resolved. The image analysis was used by the evaluation of morphology of fracture surface. On the basis of experimental works can be stated the marked correlation of quantitation microfractographic factors mechanical properties.
