Advertising is closely related to the existence of the market, the essence of which is the exchange of goods and services. The law sometimes interferes with some areas leading to the reduction of the possibility of advertising a service or product. In many countries, including Poland, among others, advertising medical activity is prohibited. The purpose of this article is to present legislation and issues related to the advertising of health services (medical activity).

Background: Teenagers tend to abandon the programs of preventive and therapeutic medical care established for them in infancy by their pediatricians and parents. Purpose: To assess the influence of social factors on the health behaviours of Belarusian teenagers in the field of reproductive health. Material and methods: We analyzed the medical activity of Belarusian teenagers ages 15 to 18 during (March through June 2010) using a questionnaire. The sample of 463 females and 486 males representatively reflects the set of teenagers of Belarus. Results: In the group of adolescents interviewed, it was revealed that medical activity was insufficient; medical knowledge is mismatched with their requirements for health. Among social factors, such as accommodation, education of parents, socioeconomic status, and family structure, the last one appeared to be the most significant. Within families, teenagers more often received information concerning reproductive health from their mothers. Problems related to reproductive health were ranked differently depending on the age and gender of the teenagers. A positive dependence on timely reference for medical aid based on the educational level of parents was found. Conclusions: The medical activity of teenagers is insufficient, and their health care knowledge in the field of reproductive health does not align with their requirements for health

In the present study of Jasminum sambac ethnobotanical and pharmacognostical activity of Jasminum sambac leaf .These species of highly medicinal purpose flowers, leaves act as lactifuge, arrest the secretion of milk in the puerperal state in case of threatened abscess pharmacognostical study of leaf parts of Jasminum sambac has been undertaken, hence it is establish. Pharmacognostical and quality control parameters of leaf, of Jasminum sambac was carried out. Various microscopic characters viz., transverse section of leaf, quantitative parameters (stomatal number, stomatal index, and vein-islet and termination number) were determined for the identification of plant material. Powder microscopic studies, were also performed. Physicochemical parameters such as total Ash(13.5%), water soluble ash (6.7%) and acidinsoluble ash (8.2 %)Alcohol soluble extractive(30%) Water soluble extractive(11.8%)Moisture content(6.19%)Crude fibre content(15.1%)Swelling index (1)and Foaming index (Lessthan 100).

Anthocyanins are one of the main flavonoid groups. They are responsible for, e.g., the color of plants and have antioxidant features and a wide spectrum of medical activity. The subject of the study was the following compounds that belong to the anthocyanins and which can be found, e.g., in strawberries and chokeberries: callistephin chloride (pelargonidin-3-O-glucoside chloride) and ideain chloride (cyanidin-3-O-galactoside chloride). The aim of the study was to determine the compounds’ antioxidant activity towards the erythrocyte membrane and changes incurred by the tested anthocyanins in the lipid phase of the erythrocyte membrane, in liposomes composed of erythrocyte lipids and in DPPC, DPPC/cholesterol and egg lecithin liposomes. In particular, we studied the effect of the two selected anthocyanins on red blood cell morphology, on packing order in the lipid hydrophilic phase, on fluidity of the hydrophobic phase, as well as on the temperature of phase transition in DPPC and DPPC/cholesterol liposomes. Fluorimetry with the Laurdan and Prodan probes indicated increased packing density in the hydrophilic phase of the membrane in the presence of anthocyanins. Using the fluorescence probes DPH and TMA-DPH, no effect was noted inside the hydrophobic phase of the membrane, as the lipid bilayer fluidity was not modified. The compounds slightly lowered the phase transition temperature of phosphatidylcholine liposomes. The study has shown that both anthocyanins are incorporated into the outer region of the erythrocyte membrane, affecting its shape and lipid packing order, which is reflected in the increasing number of echinocytes. The investigation proved that the compounds penetrate only the outer part of the external lipid layer of liposomes composed of erythrocyte lipids, DPPC, DPPC/cholesterol and egg lecithin lipids, changing its packing order. Fluorimetry studies with DPH-PA proved that the tested anthocyanins are very effective antioxidants. The antioxidant activity of the compounds was comparable with the activity of Trolox®.
