Celem artykułu jest analiza wpływu wybranych czynników socjodemografi cznych, takich jak płeć, wiek oraz miejsce zamieszkania, status zatrudnienia i rodzaj wybieranego środka transportu, na poziom świadomości ekologicznej ankietowanych.

The article presents the influence of demographic features on the level of environmental awareness of working students who represents employees and future managers/owners of firms. Their decisions will influence on enterprises’ attitude to the natural environment. The working hypothesis was formulated about the influence of the sex, age, status of employment, place of living and chosen mean of transport on the level of environmental awareness. In order to verify the working hypothesis correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis and Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) have been chosen as statistical methods. The results of the research indicate that all examine factors have statistically significant impact on the level of environmental awareness instead of status of employment. The dependence of age on the level of environmental awareness is linear both in the group of women and men. The highest level of environmental awareness of respondents is relevant to the care of the environment’s aesthetics and the lowest one is connected with the commitment in ecological problems.
