The article presents the results of an educational diagnosis. The study it describes analyses the style of invitations prepared by the Polish middle school pupils and its significant variation despite the fact that the subjects did identical tasks in identical conditions. The author is interested in the pupils’ awareness of style, which is why the study analyses only the texts whose writers have made a deliberate and conscious choice of stylistic models. The diversity of style has turned out to be the most pronounced on the level of register, and the main reason behind the style variation among the texts was rooted in the clash between opposing stylistic systems (formality vs. informality) and the overlapping of several discourses: the school, internet and colloquial discourse. The pupils have shown much creativity, choosing one of the three strategies to cope with the paradoxes of style designed by the authors of the task. None of the variants of style employed by the pupils in their invitations can be judged as incorrect or artificial. In such a situation, the basic category evaluating the style of

The article presents general remarks regarding a contract for vesting of property. This form of contract was implemented in the Civil Code by means of alteration which came into force on 11th October 2008. The alteration replaced the possibility of unilateral abandonment of the legal right to one’s property. Firstly, the abandonment of one’s property has been presented as a proprietorship attribute. By contrast, regulations in this field existing in German, Dutch and French law have been shown. Then, regulations existing in Polish law have been presented. It has been pointed out that over the period between the date of repeal of article 179 of the Civil Code by Constitutional Tribunal’s judgment from 15 March 2005 and articles 9021 and 9022 coming into force some legal vacuum occurred as the Civil Code did not regulate this issue at all. Furthermore, a contract for vesting of property as a separate type of nominate contract has been analyzed. The main characteristics of that legal action have been presented. The parties, the subject and the conclusion of the contract mode have been briefly discussed. It has been shown that with reference to this contract the law-maker applies the term ”invitation” which should be understood differently to the term ”offer”. It has been noticed that the owner has no possibility of enforcing the conclusion of the contract on the given commune or State Treasury. It has been stated that a contract for vesting of property is not a donation. It has been emphasized that the owner vesting the property bears no responsibility for its faults. It has been suggested that there is a necessity to conclude a charge-free contract for vesting of property in the form of an authenticated deed. The contract placement in the Civil Code has been shown. Last but not least, the differences between the institution of abandonment of the legal right to one’s property and transferring one’s property have been discussed.

The aim of the research is to indicate a new direction for generating renewable energy that may eliminate the HVAC heating and ventilation system EP and reduce the CO2 emissions fourfold. The Potocki Palace in Radzyn Podlaski will be the first renovated palace building in the region with the lowest EP indicator, while maintaining the highest parameters for the indoor air and reduction of CO2 (Project, 2019).

Celem badań jest wskazanie nowego kierunku pozyskania energii z wód gruntowych, magazynu ciepła i chłodu, magazynu energii odnawialnej, która w instalacjach HVAC może wyeliminować z systemu wentylacji oraz ogrzewania EP i ograniczyć czterokrotnie emisję CO2. Pałac Potockich w Radzyniu Podlaskim jako pierwszy rewitalizowany w Polsce, uzyska najniższy wskaźnik EP, z zachowaniem bardzo wysokich parametrów powietrza wewnętrznego wraz z redukcją CO2 (Projekt, 2019).

Cel: Archiwum Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu (dalej: UMK) gromadzi, opracowuje, przechowuje i udostępnia materiały ulotne. Autorka w swoim artykule stara się przybliżyć czytelnikom zagadnienia związane z tymi wydawnictwami efemerycznymi. Znajdziemy w nim odpowiedzi na pytania, czym są materiały ulotne, jakie są podstawy prawne ich gromadzenia i opracowywania oraz jak wzbogacają naszą wiedzę historyczną o ludziach, instytucjach i najważniejszych wydarzeniach z naszej wspólnej przeszłości. Metoda badawcza: Autorka przeanalizowała ewolucję wzrostu znaczenia druków ulotnych oraz zainteresowania nimi przez badaczy. Dalsza szczegółowa analiza materiałów ulotnych opiera się na badaniu wybranych materiałów ulotnych znajdujących się w zasobie Archiwum UMK i pokazuje czytelnikom, jak cenne informacje one zawierają, wzbogacają oraz uzupełniają wiedzę badaczy o minionych czasach. Wnioski/Wyniki: Autorka zauważa znaczenie gromadzonych materiałów ulotnych i zachęca czytelników, którzy mają styczność z współcześnie wytwarzanymi wydawnictwami efemerycznymi do ich gromadzenia celem udostępnienia przyszłym pokoleniom i pozostawienia świadectwa o czasach współczesnych i ciekawych wydarzeniach.

Aim: The Archive of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (hereinafter: NCU) collects, develops, stores and makes available ephemeral materials. In her article, the author tries to bring the readers closer to issues related to these ephemeral publications. We will find here answers to the questions of what ephemeral materials are, what are the legal grounds for their collection and development, and how they enrich our historical knowledge about people, institutions and the most important events of our common past. Research method: The analysis of the evolution of the growing significance of ephemeral materials and the interest of researchers in them. Then, a review of selected materials preserved in the Archives of NCU in order to show the potential hidden in this type of collections. Conclusions/Results: The author notices the importance of collected ephemeral materials and encourages readers who are in contact with contemporary ephemeral publications to collect them in order to make them available to future generations to bear witness to the time of contemporary and interesting events.

Ziel: Zu den Aufgaben des Universitätsarchivs der Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Universität in Toruń gehören die Erwerbung, Bearbeitung, Aufbewahrung und Bereitstellung verschiedener Lebensdokumente. Im Beitrag versucht die Autorin, den Lesern die genannten Dokumente zu erläutern. Wir finden da die Antworten auf die Fragen, was die Lebensdokumente eigentlich sind, welche Rechtsvorschriften für ihre Erwerbung und Bearbeitung gültig sind und wie sie unser historisches Wissen über Menschen, Einrichtungen und die wichtigsten Ereignisse aus unserer gemeinsamen Vergangenheit bereichern. Forschungsmethode: Die Analyse der immer größeren Bedeutung von Lebensdokumenten sowie der Interessen der Forscher daran, Übersicht über ausgewählte Materialien aus dem Bestand des Universitätsarchivs, um das Potential derartiger Bestände zu betonen. Ergebnisse/Schlussfolgerungen: Die Autorin weist auf die Bedeutung der gesammelten Lebensdokumente hin und veranlasst die Leser, die heutzutage auf die so erzeugten Materialien stoßen, dazu, sie zu sammeln, um sie den künftigen Generationen bereitzustellen und von der Gegenwart und vielen interessanten Ereignissen Zeugnis abzulegen.
