Very often, the operation of diagnostic systems is related to the evaluation of process functionality, where the diagnostics is carried out using reference models prepared on the basis of the process description in the nominal state. The main goal of the work is to develop a hierarchical gas turbine reference model for the estimation of start-up parameters based on multi-layer perceptron neural networks. A functional decomposition of the gas turbine start-up process was proposed, enabling a modular analysis of selected parameters of the process. Real data sets obtained from observations of the turbo-generator set located on a North Sea platform were used.

In the article, the Quality Management System (QMS) in heat supply is shown ashigh-quality and reliable heat supplyensuring system for consumers (in the most cost-efficient way compliant with environmental standards) and ensuring the quality assessment of functioning business. The article provides features of heat supply, as control object, and difficulties of assessing the quality of functioning business. It also provides a process approach to description and management of activity, as one of management principles in QMS.

W artykule system zarządzania jakością w dostarczaniu ciepła potraktowano jako system zapewniający wysoką jakość i niezawodność dostarczania ciepła klientom w najbardziej ekonomiczny sposób, przy jednoczesnym zapewnieniu standardów ekologicznych i uwzględnieniu oceny jakości funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa. Wskazano cechy szczególne dostarczania ciepła jako obiektu sterowania oraz trudności w ocenie jakości funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa. Przyjęto podejście procesowe do opisu i sterowania dostarczaniem ciepła jako zasady sterowania systemem zarządzania jakością.

This work is intended to give a view on alternative algorithm Snap To Grid (STG) that constitutes the top layer of hierarchical control system. This algorithm was used for beet-slicers points of work optimization. Some features of the system were presented and general steady-state optimization approach was discussed.

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie koncepcji algorytmu Snap To Grid (STG), usytuowanego w najwyższej warstwie hierarchicznego systemu sterowania. Niniejszy algorytm został wykorzystany do optymalizacji punktu pracy systemu sterowania zespołem krajalnic buraczanych. Podjęto dyskusję związaną z optymalizacją stanu ustalonego oraz w jej kontekście przedstawiono cechy opracowanego systemu sterowania.

At present, geoecology-related discussions are focused on the ability to provide systematic and universal landscape description in a variety of space and time scales, as well as in different functional systems. This requires the development of landscape schemes in the form of hierarchical structural and functional systems. This paper has therefore focused on concepts of crucial importance for landscape system description, such as scale, spatial range and structure and landscape functioning. The definition of these concepts and their characteristics are crucial for the ability to describe a landscape system, in terms of its structural and functional composition and valuation, as well as assessment of landscape and ecosystem functions and services. Therefore, the analysis allows a demonstration of approaches discussed in the subject literature and the authors’ opinions.

Na etapie planowania, projektowania oraz geodezyjnych pomiarów powierzchniowych i podziemnych sieci tunelowych, aspekt dokładności oraz ich niezawodności stanowił od zawsze najwyższy priorytet. W opracowaniu przedstawiono współcześnie stosowany na świecie hierarchiczny system konstrukcji sieci w jednolitym układzie referencyjnym – tzw. DATUM. Opisano w zarysie technologię zakładania i pomiarów długich osnów powierzchniowych dla zapewnienia wysokiej precyzji przenoszenia azymutu topograficznego dla nawiązania podziemnej modularnej i wydłużonej sieci realizacyjnej tuneli komunikacyjnych.

At the stage of planning, designing and measuring underground tunnel networks, the aspect of networks accuracy and reliability were always the highest priority. The paper presents contemporary systems of hybrid network construction in the uniform reference system used in the world – DATUM. Described in outline the technology of installing long measurement surface warps to ensure hight precision of transfer of the topographic azimuth to establish a modular implementation network in a uniform reference system communication tunnels.
