Health resort treatment is an important element of the Polish health care system. An aging population, an increase in the amount of free time and income, as well as a healthy lifestyle trend are the main factors for the development of health tourism. West Pomeranian voivodeship ranks 3rd in the country in terms of the number of health resorts, as well as is the undisputed leader in terms of the number of people visiting Polish resorts. In 2017, over 25% of patients underwent medical treatment in health resorts in West Pomeranian voivodeship. The aim of the study was to analyze the potential of health resorts in West Pomeranian voivodeship and to assess the development of tourist traffic in health resorts in recent years. West Pomeranian voivodeship observes a steady increase in the number of health resort visitors using the services offered by health establishments and a changing structure of patients in regard to the financing method – there is a growing number of people who finance their stay in the health resort on their own. In order to maintain the leading position on the market of health tourism services, it is necessary to raise the standard of health services, carry out further investments in modern health resort infrastructure that is open to innovative and unconventional solutions combining traditional and modern methods of treatment as well as preventive healthcare and leisure. There is a need to constantly adapt the health tourism product to the changing needs of patients and to create new brand of products as well as acquire new groups of recipients who finance their stay in health establishments.

Although treatment in heath resorts is one of the oldest fields of medicine, standards for this treatment have not been set so far, including norms and procedures for individual stimulation treatment. The only binding regulations impose on health centres an obligation to use only natural resources for such treatment. In practice, the lack of standards may translate into improper treatment, or lead to using insufficient or low quality resources. That is why NIK conducted an audit that examined the effectiveness of the supervision in the area, and whether medicinal resources were correctly used in 16 health resorts treatment centres.

W artykule omówiono koncepcję społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu, w kontekście opieki zdrowotnej nad pracownikami przedsiębiorstwa i obowiązków ciążących w tym zakresie na pracodawcy. Opisano główne problemy zdrowotne pracowników wielobranżowego przedsiębiorstwa, jakim jest KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. W artykule przedstawiono doświadczenia KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. we wdrażaniu jednego z działań prozdrowotnych, w ramach długofalowego programu poprawy bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy do roku 2020. Opisano również szczegóły rozwiązania o charakterze celowanej rehabilitacji uzdrowiskowej oraz nakreślono korzyści z jego wdrożenia.

The article discusses the concept of corporate social responsibility in the context of health care employees of the company and of the obligations in this respect to the employer. Describes the main health problems of employees multitradesman-sized enterprise, which is the KGHM Polska Miedz S.A. The article presents the experience of KGHM Polska Miedz S.A. in implementation of one of the measures to promote health in the context of a long-term Program to improve workplace safety in KGHM Polska Miedz S.A. to the year 2020. It also describes details of the design of a targeted rehabilitation at health resort and outlined the benefits of its implementation.

Celem niniejszego opracowania jest identyfikacja różnic w zachowaniach konsumentów na rynku usług zdrowotnych w ujęciu przestrzennym na przykładzie usług z zakresu lecznictwa uzdrowiskowego. Artykuł ma charakter badawczy i opiera się na analizie danych zastanych. Na ich podstawie przedstawiono rozkład zmiennych powiązanych pośrednio lub bezpośrednio z zachowaniami w przekroju województw, na obszarze których zlokalizowane są uzdrowiska statutowe. Przeprowadzona analiza pozwoliła na stwierdzenie, że w Polsce istnieje zróżnicowana struktura zachowań w odniesieniu do wyboru uzdrowisk.

An aim of this study is to identify the differences in consumers’ behaviours in the market for health services in spatial terms on the example of health resort treatment. The article is of the research nature and is based on an analysis of the existing data. Based on them, the author presented the distribution of variable connected directly or indirectly with behaviours by provinces where the statutory health resorts are located. The carried out analysis allowed statement that there is in Poland a diversified pattern of behaviours towards the choice of health resorts.

Цель настоящей разработки – выявить отличия в поведении потребите лей на рынке услуг здравоохранения в пространственном разрезе на примере услуг в области курортной медицины. Статья имеет исследовательский харак- тер и основывается на анализе более ранних данных. На их основе представили распределение переменных, прямо или косвенно связанных с поведением, по воеводствам, на территории которых расположены уставные курорты. Про- веденный анализ позволил констатировать, что в Польше существует дифференцированная структура поведения по отношению к выбору курортов.
