Nowadays problems of euromanagement become to be, for the obvious reasons, a focal point in management. It is usually formulated and defined as a set rules or principles. This is how this article addresses the problem. The author also points to a specifics and constituencies for these rules formulating in European environment.

The author’s basic aim was to attempt defining the relations occurring between the European way of managing a company and the European cultural model. The author is attempting a presentation of the effect of the cultural factor – in the historical dimension – on the manifestations of the process of the European way of managing a company. The sphere of culture favors creating Euro-managers’ consciousness and identity, and also influences the manifestations of the European way of managing a company.

Economic processes that have undergone in the last decade are an exceptional opportunity for an analysis of problems with the management of the European enterprise. An extremely important is also the context of conditions and characteristics attendant on the processes of European integration. In her discussion on the management of the European enterprise the author wanted to refer to the ongoing evolution of the model of European management. She had in mind the mutability and complexity of the enterprises' surrounding, including European enterprises. An attempt has been made to find some characteristics of European management, and challenges that this management will have to face in the future. The paper focuses on such characteristics of European management that emphasise its relations with culture. The function of the paradigm of European management has been highlighted, and the particular influence of the enterprise's surrounding on the formulation of this kind of model of entrepreneurial management. According to the author, European management may become an area of quests for a clear antidote to the mutable conditions of the milieu in which an enterprise is working.

In the presented article an attempt has been made to define the relations occurring between the organization culture and managing the European company. The author treated culture as:– an independent variable – characterizing intercultural research in the European management;– a internal variable – deciding about the variability of European companies. It is worth stressing that cultures differentiate companies and they represent characteristics that decide about their individuality. It seems that the evolving paradigm of the European management takes into consideration the cultural context of the environment in a particular way.
