Celem pracy było ukazanie, iż przyrząd treningowy typu „wioślarz” może okazać się przydatny w pracy z osobami trenującymi. Badanie obejmowało: w I serii – 25, a w II – 5 osób. W wyniku badania zostały sporządzone charakterystyki pomiędzy cechami fizycznymi osób ćwiczących a wynikami uzyskiwanymi w czasie trwania ćwiczenia.

In this paper, the technical data provided by the sellers of an exercise bike FALCON SG-911B SAPPHIRE have been verified. After dismantling the bike, the dimensions of the components of the transmission of motion were measured and the mass parameters of the flywheel were set. In order to increase the mass moment of inertia reduced to an axis of the crankshaft, construction changes were proposed. The values of the braking torque of the magnetic brake at subsequent resistance levels were measured. The cycling test was performed and the distance, calories burned and heart rate read from the counter were verified computationally.

Bilateral diversity is one of the regularities to the human and the upper extremities perform the main role during lateralization, but high level of asymmetry could be an obstacle in the pursuit of success in sport events demanding symmetrical movement. In the case of the lack of balance you should be disqualified according to the breaststroke rules. So, the purpose of the study was to determine the upper extremities kinematical asymmetry during breaststroke swimming on the swimming ergometer and the differences between genders. Transverse asymmetry was found to dominate for both men and women.
