W artykule przedstawiono parametryczny opis narzędzia pierścieniowego o prostoliniowym zarysie znamionowym oraz matematyczny opis powierzchni śrubowej zwoju ślimaka stożkopochodne-go kształtowanego takim narzędziem. Pokazano kilka przykładów zaiysu zwoju ślimaka dla wybranych parametrów ślimaka i narzędzia. Omówiono wyniki obliczeń i podano nasuwające się wnioski.

Product evaluation method considering the disassembling and recycling at the stage of design, has been presented in the paper. Furthermore, the tool aiding the product ecological evaluation has been described. The results of the ecological evaluation of the cordless water heater, refrigerator combined with deep freezer and automatic laundry machine have been also presented in the paper.

The progresses of technology and introduction of new materials produce new generations of appliances, which in turn push the older ones off the market. The fast pace of technological advancement causes massive pileups of white goods on refuse dumps, even though the materials they are made of constitute valuable raw materials which can be recycled multiple times. Adjusting product to the future recycling process requires proper designing of the whole lifetime process. This paper presents the method of product design assessment with consideration of disassembly for the recycling process.
