In economy based on knowledge it seems reasonable to use pro-qualitative concepts, methods and tools in the creation of the process of management. This, in turn, leads to the growth of its efficiency and effectiveness. What comes to this group is self-assessment, which becomes the tool in the process of quality forming as well as the tool used in the process of the formation of maturity level of organisational solutions. Giving information, knowldege allows to orientate managers to the excellence of their functioning, by which conditioning the possibility of development and achieving permanent success in the future.
