In the article two automated control systems for training are considered by the authors.The use of new information and communication technologies in education and science, especially distance learning is a priority for higher education. This allows you to track feedback between the students and teachers, to provide a quick check of a student learning, provide material for independent study of any training courses. So the Moodle system is intended for creation of the qualitative online courses in the subjects in the form of lectures by the lecturers, testing the students’ knowledge, self-teaching of new material. It is translated into ten languages and is used in many educational establishments of different countries of the world. Besides, it is very suitable both for online-courses and for support of internal instruction. Moodle with its opportunities is equal with famous commercial control systems of educational process. The difference is that Moodle is accessible and open source software that enables to adjust it for any educational establishment. Moodle on-line courses comprises a lecturer, the students and educational material. The course is created by an administrator appointing teachers for supervising it. Within the system the course is not only means of organization of educational process but it also may be just an area of communication for the people interested in the same themes. In turn the computer program «Universys WS» is intended for the development of the automated systems and ensuring differentiation of the personified access to the functions, services and data of the personnel information system, the pupils’ and customers’ ones by means of connection by HTTP or HTTPS (protocols) through data transmission networks. The main functions of this program are collecting, storage, change, deletion and processing of personal information; protection of the processed personal information from unauthorized access; management of an educational establishment structure; management of its branches; automation of planning and making up timetable; automation of making up planned and actual classroom teaching load; control of the students progress and rating of mastering of main educational programs; realization of distance educational technologies and carrying out procedures of personal electronic testing of the students. The comparative analysis of these systems has been made and their general characteristic has been represented by the authors.

Purpose: The paper is focused on the assumptions of the method of discretizing the states of sequential systems for an exemplary robotized metallurgical semi- finished products treatment department. The control of digital equipment is described on the bases of the patterns of control bites sequence configuration. The need for the development of a discretization method stems from difficulties encountered in representing the state of a process of an analogue nature. The crucial barrier is the method of treating the input signal to the visualization system. Design/methodology/approach: The proposed method is based on determining the variables that control the course of visualization in a manner enabling the treatment of all signals as boolean variables. Such approach requires a proper formulation of the input information flux to secure an explicit identification of the states of the served process. Findings: On the grounds of the assumptions a system of visualization is created to attempt the service of a robotized treatment centre. The main emphasis is put on devising an unambiguous way of identifying the states of an industrial robot and its cooperating sensors. Research limitations/implications: The result is the presentation of the combination of control elements in a bite vector used for defining the state of failure or for detecting operational irregularities. Originality/value: The originality of the paper is the approach towards the problem of processes visualization which may be categorized to a group of discrete processes with elements of analogue control data processing.

W artykule przedstawiono nowy algorytm syntezy ortogonalnych równań stanu systemów o skończonej odpowiedzi impulsowej. W odróżnieniu od istniejących algorytmów opartych na przekształceniach wielomianowych, prezentowana technika wykorzystuje rozwinięcie równań stanu w szereg potęgowy. Takie podejście pozwala prowadzić obliczenia z wykorzystaniem rachunku macierzowego liczb rzeczywistych. Dzięki temu algorytm ten może być bezpośrednio zaimplementowany przy użyciu typowych programów matematycznych operujących na macierzach.

In this paper, a novel state-space synthesis algorithm for orthogonal finite impulse response systems is presented. In contrast to known algorithms based on polynomial transformations, this technique utilizes the power series expansion. Such an approach allows performing calculations by means of real matrix calculations. Thanks to it, this algorithm can be directly implemented using standard mathematical software based on matrix representation.

The paper presents the model of discrete event manufacturing control system. It describes manufacturing system behaviour using set theory. The model is considered as a collection of entities that represent knowledge and data of the manufacturing system. The presented concept is a general one but is especially devoted to building self-creating multi-agent manufacturing control system. It allows preparing control system that is based on integration of unified, easy to re-confique, intelligent and cooperative agents. Applied modelling process is presented by using three-stage action.

W pracy zaprezentowano model dyskretnego systemu sterowania wytwarzaniem. Jest on przedstawiony za pomocą zapisu stosowanego w teorii mnogości. Model ten opisuje system wytwarzania jako zbiór obiektów reprezentujących dane oraz wiedzę w nim zawartą. Zaprezentowana koncepcja ma charakter ogólny, ale jest szczególnie przydatna do budowania samokreującego się wieloagentowego systemu sterowania wytwarzaniem. Taki system sterowania jest oparty na integracji sieciowej jednolitych, konfigurowalnych, inteligentnych i kooperatywnych agentów. Proces modelowania przedstawiono w postaci trzech następujących po sobie kolejno etapów.
