Piezoelectric crystals are common used in mechanical sensors in beams of different shape. The parameters of device functionality depend on the frequency characteristic of the beam. The devices operate in frequency up to 110% of the natural angular frequency of the beam. The beams are made of anisotropic material. If we choose a particular direction in the anisotropic medium we are able to calculate equivalent constants: Young modulus E and t - damping modulus in Voight model of viscoelastic material. We consider the equivalent discrete model in the case of small damping. Modulus E and t are calculated knowing: natural angular frequency of damped vibrations and logarithmic decrement of damping from experiments.
