The paper describes road bridges which construction is made of concrete-steel girders with a hole in a web. It presents the brief characteristics of these structures and problems related with. In the further part of paper example of this kind of bridge is presented. So-called “Muchoborski Bridge” is located over Ślęza river in Wrocław along Ostrowski street. Due to fatique problems - cracks in the comers of holes in web of an I-beam, there was need to carry out examination off all cracks in steel girders. The method of analysis and conclusions from tests are presented. Paper also shows the scope of repair and strengthening of the bridge in order to increase the load capacity of the structure.
