Results on $L_{n,p}(α)$ are derived by proving more general results on differential subordination. These results reduce, by putting p =1, to the recent results of Al-Amiri and Mocanu.

It is showed that over the field of numbers in the mean value-pseudovariance representation we can build a vector space. The scalar product and the distance measure, are defined. This enables the application of the mean value-pseudovariance representation in the methods using vector calculation.

The Choquet-Deny theorem and Deny's theorem are extended to the vector-valued case. They are applied to give a simple nonprobabilistic proof of the vector-valued renewal theorem, which is used to study the $L^p$-dimension, the $L^p$-density and the Fourier transformation of vector-valued self-similar measures. The results answer some questions raised by Strichartz.

The paper deals with the problem of automatic image processing, which takes into account the specific purpose of improving image quality. This issue is particularly difficult in the case of improving the quality of images derived from medical equipment. The methods of processing and quality improvement applied in this case require the use of clear and objective measures of image quality. The improvement of image quality can be evaluated according to some objective criteria, like scalar measures. The authors present the partial results of work showing the influence of the adaptive filter parameters used, in relation to the class of medical images, on the objective scalar measures of image quality.

For functions of the form \[f(z) = z^{p} + \sum_{n = 1}^{\infty} a_{p + n} z^{p + n}\] we obtain sharp bounds for some coefficients functionals in certain subclasses of starlike functions. Certain applications of our main results are also given. In particular, Fekete-Szego-like inequality for classes of functions defined through extended fractional differintegrals are obtained.

Teoria niezawodnosci opisuje losowe czasy działania urzadzen podatnychna awarie. Na potrzeby tego typu badan opracowano specyficzne branzowepojecia, m.in. resztowy czas zycia, intensywnosc awarii, czy sredni resztowy czaszycia. Ich definicje zostały podane w Rozdziale 2. Znalazły sie w nim takze podstawowe definicje i fakty dotyczace systemów monotonicznych. Systemy monotoniczne tworza bardzo prosty i wygodny model, opisujacy działanie urzadzen składajacych sie z odpowiednio ułozonych wzgledem siebie czesci. Jest to dynamicznie rozwijajaca sie teoria, znajdujaca zastosowania w wielu dziedzinach nauki. Wiecej na ten temat mozna dowiedziec sie z ksiazek [2] i [13].Rozmaite porzadki stochastyczne, czyli porzadki na zbiorach rozkładów prawdopodobienstwa, maja zastosowanie w wielu dziedzinach rachunku prawdopodobienstwa i statystyki matematycznej. Wiele o porzadkach mozna nauczyć się z książki [14]. W Rozdziale 3 niniejszego artykułu zostały zdefiniowane i porównane ze soba tylko te porzadki, które najbardziej przydaja sie w pracy z klasami rozkładów czasu zycia. Nie powinno dziwic, ze takie kryterium wyboru spełniaja przede wszystkim porzadki, które prostota definicji i wszechstronnym zastosowaniem zasłuzyły sobie na miano klasycznych. Relacje miedzy wprowadzonymi porzadkami zostały podsumowane na Rysunku 1.W Rozdziale 4 opisane zostały wybrane klasy rozkładów czasu zycia – zarównote znane od kilkudziesieciu lat, jak i niektóre sposród wprowadzonych stosunkowoniedawno. Nacisk został połozony na dwa zagadnienia: relacje miedzy poszczególnymi klasami oraz domknietosci poszczególnych klas wzgledem najczesciej uzywanych operacji niezawodnosciowych: splotów, mieszanek i tworzenia systemów monotonicznych. Zostały tez wyróznione klasy domkniete ze wzgledu na maksima i minima. Wyniki zostały podsumowane na Rysunku 2 i w Tabeli 2.Wszystkim zainteresowanym zastosowaniem przedstawionych pojec na pewnoprzypadnie do gustu przystepnie i rzetelnie napisana ksiazka [10].

This article covers knowledge of recently used stochastic orders, ageing classes, and relations between them. Definitions and relations between particular stochastic orders are presented there. The paper also contains definitions (especially using stochastic orders), relations and closure properties of ageing classes. Closure properties are investigated there under five useful reliability operations: convolutions, mixtures, formation of monotonic systems, maxima and minima.

In this paper a multivalent harmonic function is defined by m-tuple integral operators and some classes of these multivalent harmonic functions are studied in terms of inequalities involving Wright generalized hypergeometric functions. Some special cases of our results are also mentioned.

In Knopik (2005) the ageing class MTFR (Mean Time to Failure or Repair) of lifetime distribution was introduced. In this paper, we show that the family MTFR is closed under weak convergence of distribution and convolution. We prove that the dual family MTFR^D (in a particular case) is closed under mixtures.

Making use of Dziok-Srivastava operator we introduced a new class of complex-valued harmonie functions which are orientation preserving, univalent and starlike with respect to other points. We investigate the coefficient bounds.distortion inequalities, extreme points and inclusion results for the generalized class of functions.

Przedstawiono prace autora z ostatnich lat, dotyczące zagadnień systemów i sygnałów rozmytych analogowych i dyskretnych, a szczególnie ich podstawy teoretyczne, nigdy nie publikowane w kraju. Podano w skrócie definicje, będące uogólnieniem definicji tradycyjnych: przestrzeni funkcji rozmytych, transformaty Fouriera dla sygnałów rozmytych, rozmytych funkcji korelacji, splotu rozmytego. Podano przykłady i szkic zastosowania tych metod do analizy obrazów.

Since 20 years the author occupies with fuzzy system and fuzzy reasoning. At the beginning, the papers concerned fuzzy control [1-3], fuzzy modeling [4] and approximate reasoning [5]. Here, only a few papers are cited form more than forty, which deal with these subjects. Recently, the main interest of the author was devoted to enlarge signal theory on fuzzy signals and time invariant systems. Most important papers concerned the definition of Fourier transform of fuzzy functions [6,8,13] and Laplace transform [12], fuzzy correlation functions [7,13], fuzzy convolution [8], and generally time invariant analog and discrete fuzzy systems [11]. Many of the papers have pioneer and pathfinder character. In this paper some of newest concept are presented, because they are never published in polish. In the paper the convention is adopted fuzzy variable and fuzzy parameters are denoted by normal fonts and crisp (not fuzzy) values by italic fonts.

In the article, the origin of number systems, which describe the uncertain information is handled. Two different possibilities of creating such systems are shown. The convolution representation and its connection with fuzzy arithmetic and algebra is introduced. On this basis the need of defining a new conception of the certain number is proved. The new conception of such, numbers is defined in the article.

Electrochemical studies of the fraras-dichloro-bis (diphenylphosphino) methane rhenium in tetrabutylammonium perchlorate/dichloromethane have been performed using cyclic and convolution potential sweep voltammetry. At room temperature, it was found that the complex isomerises on oxidation from the irons- to the cis-isomer and returns back to the original complex form on reduction at lower potentials. The electrode mechanisms were proposed and discussed on the basis of the "square-scheme". Upon cooling to 233 K, the cyclic voltammetric behaviour shows a single reversible couple in the region expected for the oxidation of trans-[ReC\2 (dppm)2]. Furthermore, the homogeneous and heterogeneous rate constants of the isomerisation reaction were evaluated.
