Wpływ aglomeracji, liczbę ludności oraz funkcję miasta uznano za cechy generujące rozwój małych miast.

An analysis of the impact of residential/commercial/industrial buildings construction after 1989 on the urban structure of a city. Based on data available in the offices of local government units and a survey among residents. Three groups of small towns in the Lower Silesia were investigated, as research sample, in order to identify the positive and negative aspects of investments locating, and thereby the development of towns in Poland. An impact of agglomeration, a population and a function of a town – features which generate the development of small towns.

The current energetic crisis, which affect Europe and Slovakia, evoked amount of serious questions concerning the dependence on fossil fuels and the possibility of their replacement by alternative energy sources in the future. One from the potential alternative source is solar energy and its immediate conversion to electricity by using photovoltaic cells. Nowadays, Slovakia finds its position at the end of various tables pointing to the installed capacity of photovoltaic panels in the European Union. Article describes a brief overview of photovoltaic development in the world and suggests potential uses in the future. Article is directly related with building up a center of excellence for renewable energy sources and related progressive indoor technology, which is involved with Faculty of Civil Engineering, Technical University of Kosice. One from the several objectives resolving in this project is the transformation of solar energy into electrical energy through photovoltaic cells. Part of the thesis is intended to compare legislative and economical conditions in Slovakia and abroad.

Opisywana zależność odróżnia trwałość pożarową od powszechnie stosowanej w tego typu rozważaniach odporności ogniowej specyfikowanej dla warunków ujednoliconego pożaru standardowego. W analizie wykorzystano model pożaru parametrycznego postulowany w normie PN-EN1991-1-2.

Taking into consideration the realistic parameters describing the ability of air exchange in fire compartment under real fully developed fire conditions is absolutely necessary to reliably evaluate the fire resistance of structural members situated inside. Such a dependence differentiates the conception of fire resistance defined for the conditions of real fire from another one, commonly used, specified especially for unified ISO standard fire. In the presented analysis the parametric fire model, suggested by PN-EN 1991-1-2 standard, is particularly discussed.

Gwarantem poprawnie wykonanej konstrukcji stalowej pod względem technicznym, tj. o wymaganej klasie, jest zakład produkcyjny o odpowiednich uprawnieniach. Potwierdzeniem tej poprawności są m.in. zadowalające wyniki badań kontrolnych spawania przeprowadzanych po upływie czasu przetrzymania. W artykule omówiono zakres badań NDT spoin dla konstrukcji poszczególnych klas wykonania, według wymagań norm: PN-B-06200, PN-EN 1090-2 i PN-78/M-69011. Przedstawiono też zakres i wyniki badań produkcyjnych spawania stalowej wieży kościelnej oraz badania kontrolne spoin w ramownicowej konstrukcji hali produkcyjno-magazynowej.

Technically properly made steel structure acc. to required class guarantor is a factory with proper rights. The confirmation of the correctness are satisfactory results of the weld test carried out after the retention time. The article discusses the range of NDT of welds for the construction in separate classes of performance, acc. to the requirements of PN-B-06200, PN-EN 1090-2 and PN-78/M-69011. Moreover, it presents the range and results of welded steel church tower and the tests of welds in frame construction of production and warehouse hall.

Przedstawiono wymagania stawiane złączom spawanym przez aktualnie obowiązujące normy PN-B-06200:2002 i PN-EN ISO 5817:2007 w badaniach radiograficznych (RT) i ultradźwiękowych (UT).

New European standards changed in the significant way the assessment of the quality of welded joints in the steel building constructions. The assessment of the quality of butt joints of statically loaded low-alloyed constructional steel was described. The requirements for welded joints were presented according to the currently obligatory standards PN-B-06200 and PN-EN ISO 5817 in radiographical X-ray and ultrasonic tests.
