In this paper the results of high temperature oxidation of FeCrAl steel in air, pure SO2 and SO2 atmosphere contaminated 1,0% oxygen at 1093 K are shown. Kinetics were carried out by periodic oxidation method, which define mass weight of growing scale after established time. The oxidation process of studied steel for all experimental atmospheres obeys parabolic rate law. Microstructures observations have been performed by SEM and EDX technique.
