The article is dedicated to signify the classical/«Duvergerian» and post-classical/«post-Duvergerian» approaches to the definition of semi-presidentialism. The researcher argued that all definitions of semi-presidentialism are advisable to be divided and structured into minimalist and maximalist, relational (subjective, researcher-dependent) and dispositional (objective, researcher-independent) ones.
